Kupferman, Relle, Walline, Lee, and Sonnichsen have undergone extensive training in the oral and maxillofacial specialty. After four years of dental school, they completed oral and maxillofacial residencies, during which they trained alongside surgeons and licensed anesthesiologists and learned to perform a wide range of procedures and administer anesthesia safely.

The oral surgeons at Los Angeles Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery offer dental implant procedures at our office in Los Angeles, CA. When teeth are missing or need to be extracted, dental implants can act as supports for new replacement teeth. You will smile confidently, knowing that your implants look and feel just like natural teeth.
Even though adult teeth are meant to be permanent, they can fall out or decay because of trauma, disease, or injury. When a tooth falls out or needs to be extracted, you can replace it with a dental implant. As long as there is enough jaw bone to support the implant, we can insert a dental implant into the empty socket on the same day as tooth extraction.

I thought I was some kind of celebrity or someone special. I got there filled out what I needed to fill out and was taken back to the room to see Dr. Lee. This happened not once, not twice, but every visit I had I was escorted by a charming person, rather quickly, saw Dr. Lee who is phenomenal and sent on my way with a thank you and a smile. Professional, personable, informative office staff. I can only hope they will continue their excellence and not prove me wrong. Dr. Lee makes you feel like a friend or family member who he cares about and will do his best to give you the best treatment available

Do NOT go here! Two words *money hungry oral surgeons* Before I went I called the office for an appointment date and time and confirmed the doctors avalilabity to shedule a time to remove my wisdom teeth. Next I went in person for the consultation. I went into the office and and the doctor was extremely pushy to remove ALL wisdom teeth. I explicity said I needed to only remove one, then ill remove the next three in another vist. The doctor shrugged and said we will bill too remove wisdom teeth and if you decide to not pursue just call us. Long story short I told the billing person I only need one

I have had a lot of contact with medical professionals during my 70 years on this earth, and I have never experienced the care, concern and utmost professionalism that I experienced at LA-COMS. Each and every person I came in contact with was welcoming, efficient, courteous, kind and professional. I had a condition that required oral surgery and for two years in Ventura County I could not find anyone who knew how, or was willing to address it. I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Sonnichsen and she was absolutely amazing. Quick and painless procedure, afterwards: literally no face swelling, no pain at all. I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously astounded by her work. I was super anxious as well and she made me feel very comforted. She even called me afterwards to check and see how I was doing - not customer service but her, herself. All other staff in the office were very nice as well.

This is the best experience after the worst nightmare where I fractured my jaw in 3 places… a week later and I feel like I have a better bite than I did before! Dr Lee is a genius and Val was so welcoming and kind when I came to get my stitches out! I frankly wish all my doctors were this professional and excellent at what they do!

Dr Lee and Dr. Walline provided the most outstanding care one can imagine, I was so nervous about having three wisdom teeth removed at once but Dr. Lee performed an amazing job! my surgery was early in the morning and by 2:00pm I was up, ready to go for a small walk, and have a snack. My swelling, and pain was minimal almost none existent. My fiance and our family was so shocked how well I healed and how quickly. The care, service, and consideration cannot be compared; whenever oral surgery comes up I tell everybody, if you can go to LACOMS you absolutely must go!

My experience was so amazing, I absolutely love the people here. They were all warm and welcoming. I would recommend this dentist office to everyone I know. They made me feel not as afraid of the dentist work they needed to do. And I am totally afraid of the dentist. But Dr. Lee is patient and we made me feel really good. Val was also amazing and funny, and answered all of my questions. They are truly a blessing.

I had an accidental fall and broke my jaw. The hospital referred me to Dr. Lee. His team got me in quickly for a consultation and made room to schedule me for surgery (accommodating my schedule for care). Dr. Lee was incredible. His assistant Val was amazing. Actually, everyone there has been fantastic. Easy to work with, professional and kind. Unlike many other doctors, I’ve never had to wait… follow up has been great and easy. I highly recommend their practice.

Was trying to get wisdom teeth removal here and had pretty bad customer service experience. never got to the surgery itself, probably for the best. my appointment dates kept getting moved. the office often wouldn't respond to my questions/requests, and when they did they sounded annoyed when I asked about insurance and payment options, kept transferring my calls back and forth and never getting back. in the documents that they make you sign before the surgery they state that you must bring money upfront, I've never seen anything like that in any other health care office, this seemed like a scam

Dr. Lee is my hero, and the entire LACOMS team is just the most caring group of people. I broke my jaw (in three places) in an e-scooter accident and was feeling very anxious about whether I would ever get back to "normal" ...
