So I was having issues with my car the AC Compression was making noise only issue I had in my car I am the original owner from a 2001 Ford Expedition I called to get a quote give me the quote over the phone personally I thought I was a little expensive but I still went ahead and approved it I brought my parts in so I'm only paying for labor to replace my AC compressor 3 hours later I received a phone call Kirt sales manager tell me I need my tensioner replace supposedly because it was seized ones again I bought the part took it to them by know my total is $452 just for labor when the only issue

I hope you take the time to read my short book. Sadly, I have nothing good to say about Econo Firestone any longer. 6 years ago I had posted a 5 star review after they had serviced my Dodge truck and my wife's car. My brother, my son, and my employees were also taking their vehicles to them. Because six years ago they did good work with a quick turn around and backed up the work they did. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I followed my son to Econo a month ago to drop off his truck due to a check engine light on the dash. They tested and said it was a catalytic converter problem.

First time here Anthony helped me and I needed a new battery and he got me a great deal on 2 new tires with a warranty, he gave options and found a great deal for me, he was very honest he quoted me a price for a battery and as I was waiting to have it put in (because my battery is hard to get to in my dodge) I guess it was the wrong size and the one I needed was a lot cheaper and he didn't have to tell me that and he did. I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely come back with other car needs. Also I was under the impression I needed a tune up and the other guy there told me I didn't need

I I went in and asked for a transmission fluid change they said they could do it after about 6 hours of no communication I called to see the status on my car and after telling me it would take 2 more hours of labor and a 1 hour wait for a part and after that it was gonna be $400+ so I asked if it could be done he calls back 10 minutes later and tells me he cannot be done and when I go to pick up my car and talk to him hes supposedly on a "test drive" but I seen him drive out as he watched me pull in disappointing and waste of my time

Anthony in particular has been my go to guy and is always finding ways to help me. My experience here has been excellent and the prices have been fair to me. Horrible experience. I took my car to get a diagnosis on why my air conditioning wasn't working. I waited an hour for them to come back and tell me my compressor was broken and I would have to replace it for close to $1000. I left disappointed because at the time I didn't have the money, I thought it just needed a simple recharge or the mg clutch fuse was blown and that was exactly the case.... I took it to another mechanic because I was skeptical and they fixed my ac for $80 and the compressor was just fine. He told me my compressor was disconnected and the fuse was taken out! "

Call before you come for a smog check, when I came the machine was down. But otherwise very positive experience. Also if you need the bar ois test and you have any sort of modification not on the list or check engine light don't get bigmad when there is no free recheck it's clearly posted on the wall.

Econo Firestone is a great example of how to run a business. Great customer service, honest and upfront, and fair pricing. Came in for a smog, oil change, and front brake service on my Kia Optima. They honored a yelp deal for the smog, had a good price for the oil change. Got a call about an hour after drop off and they said I needed front rotors too. I thought oh great here goes my wallet, to my surprise the pricing was very fair and Kirk was polite over the phone. Thank you Econo Firestone.

Just had my 2nd smog check done here Wednesday (11/23/2016) ... I checked my car in at 8:30am, went across the street for some coffee, and it was done by the time I got back! Since another reviewer said they had to wait for the smog the tech. to show up, I called first to make sure s/he was in. The groupon worked perfect.
I've also taken my Ford Excursion there, because I thought it may need new ball joints, but in the end, it didn't... It did need an alignment, and one of the front wheel bearings tightened. Price was very reasonable. They did not try to up-sell me or anything, or

My car began to overheat on van buren Blvd and took to nearest repair shop. Which was this Firestone place, I knew I needed my radiator replaced so after talking to Kirk and some inquiry decided to have work performed. Dropped off car at 930 picked up at 3ish. Seems to be working fine.
I just wanted to say that this place might seem shabby but it appears they do good work for about half the cost of a dealer, where I originally was on my way too before I overheated.
