At the office of Dr. John Stewart, we strive to provide high quality medical care in the field of dermatology. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care possible with the compassion, privacy and dignity that our patients so rightly deserve. While our practice is modern, the practice philosophy is based on "old fashioned" values like integrity, respect, and personalized care.
To avoid this fee, please call our office at 334-749-5604 at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment. The fee will be $30 for appointments with Dr. Stewart, with exception of appointments for Botox, Cosmetic Fillers, and Sclerotherapy which will have a no-show fee of $100.00.
There are three main types of skin cancer: basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and melanoma. The main risk factor for skin cancer is UV damage from sunlight and tanning beds. The risk goes up with cumulative sun damage, as well as a history of blistering sunburns. Other risk factors include fair skin, older age, a family history of skin cancer, and immune-suppressive medications.
Fillers are popular for several reasons. Patients like that they can return to everyday activities immediately after getting most fillers. They like the immediate results that many types of fillers deliver. Patients also like that they can get this treatment during an office visit. Uses: With a number of fillers now available, dermatologists can diminish signs of aging that appear on the face, lips, and hands.

I was told that I had basal cell carcinoma via a letter, and they wanted me to wait 6 months before following up. This is not acceptable. I called another dermatologist and they were shocked, scheduled me right away. I have to have a procedure to insure the cancer is gone in 2 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE on Dr. Stewart's part. He should have at least called with my diagnosis and saw me to discuss options. I will not be using Dr. Stewart any further.

So grateful for Dr. Stewart! Relatively new patient recommended by my family practice doctor who I trust completely. Dr. Stewart diagnosis was spot on. He was professional with such a spirit of caring and service, took time to explain thoroughly and answer all my questions. The biopsies and blood work were reported timely and he called personally to describe treatment. The Rx he prescribed has changed my life! I had no idea how bad I felt until this medication began to work. Dr. Stewart and his staff are a lovely group of caring professionals I am truly grateful for each one of them. Highly recommend

I went to Dr. Stewart in desperation after going to another dermatology clinic for several months trying to help my daughter with a horrible problem on her foot. We first went in for her bc she had one plantar wart on her foot. They cut it open (to do the nitrogen freeze treatment) but then it just spread like wildfire. We went to this dermatology office several times over several months and the problem just continued to get worse. I kept doing exactly what they said to do (religiously, every day, and very carefully) and it wasn’t helping. So I called Dr. Stewart’s office and explained our

Dr. Stewart spends time with you and is not in some crazy rush like other docs to just spend less than 5 minutes and prescribe something to make money. He is very experienced and caring. The only downside is there long wait time in the lobby and super cold lobby area. Too bad he's not in my network anymore otherwise I would go to him. I do recommend him to others who ask about Derm. docs.
