For over 50 years, LaShars has been training dancers to succeed. We love what we do, and we intend to share that love with our students. By providing a positive, professional, and safe environment, we do all we can to make sure our dancers receive only the best in order for them to learn and grow. We hold a variety of dance classes for groups of all ages.
Our studio offers professional training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, and tumbling. Classes are for all levels of training, from beginning to advanced, and our performing team competes and places in a number of competitions throughout Utah.

Services
Items needed for class: Dancewear of your choice, ballet shoes (ages 3 to 4th grade) dance paws (5th grade and up), and tap shoes (ages 3 to 4th grade). Participants will be required to wear dance clothes to class. No street shoes will be allowed on the gym floor or tumbling mats. Please wear clean dry socks for tumbling.
Please use the proper entrance and exists in the parking lot and do not park along the side of the building or block the exits. Please check your student's bag for handouts each week. Check the Facebook page or website for newsletters, updated information, schedules and events. Observation is allowed the first lesson of each month during the last fifteen minutes of class.
LaShars Studio was founded by LullaVe Davis and Sharlene Stokes and has been in business for over 50 years! Our tradition is quality instruction, great performing opportunities, building self-esteem and developing lifelong friendships. Our professional instructors have many years of dance, performing, and teaching experience, in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, and tumbling.
Regular attendance and some dance experience required. Must attend minimum of one competition. Must attend two competitions. Company Age 3rd to 5th Grades Mon./Wed. This class includes and extra half hour of technique class every first and third Wednesday of the month. Company Age 6th Grade and up Mon./Wed.
It does not need to be followed exactly. Company and older MUST wear false eyelashes. Younger dancers need to at least have eye makeup in brown/darkish tones, red/burgundy lipstick (not gloss) and blush that shows up. Dancers have already paid their entry fee and dancers and their families will be admitted free to this event.

My 3-year old took a summer dance class here. It was our first experience with a dance class anywhere. They were really great. Learned all the kids names really fast and made sure they were involved. Did a recital after only 2 lessons and I was shocked at how much they had learned that quickly. I wish we could keep going here but all the class times conflicted with our fall preschool schedule.
