Thumb Area Psychological Services (TAPS) is dedicated to providing quality and caring therapy to our local community. We have several professionals on staff with different expertise and at TAPS we strive to ensure you are matched with the expert that will best help you reach your personal goals. Our therapy ranges from Trauma Therapy to Applied Behavior Analysis therapy.
Our Applied Behavior Analysis clinic, Turning Point, aims to help those diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum by utilizing the most current, evidence-based practices. We offer a wide variety of counseling services to meet the needs of our clients of all ages. We currently offer individual, family and couples counseling.
Turning Point is Thumb Area Psychological Services' Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a clinical setting, in their home, school and community depending on their individual needs. ABA is the science of studying behavior and applying data supported techniques to increase or decrease behaviors that are meaningful to the child and the child's social environment.

Apparently a few reviewers don't understand that mentioning multiple profession related complaints that the general public wouldn't know, makes them look they don't understand a review.
I have seen Bree multiple times and that woman is a miracle worker of a counselor. She's so attentive, caring, and actually tries to help and understand you as a human. I recommend her to legit everyone that I hear are looking

So if you find yourself looking at reviews for this ABA clinic, you probably love someone that’s on the Autism Spectrum. I know I found myself looking at reviews a long time ago trying to find the best place for my son to learn and grow. And I know sometimes ABA can get a bad reputation, and that is scary! I’m here to give the most true and real review because this is the type of review I needed to read when making the decision for my son. My son and myself have been very happy with the services and staff at Turning Point ABA clinic. Some of the most beautiful woman inside and out work there

I became a RBT (Registered Behavioral Therapist) in Salem, Oregon. After moving back to my hometown in Michigan, I was thrilled to find out about TAPS. Providing ABA therapy was the most rewarding profession I had ever had. At CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disorders) I played a major role in helping non-verbal children start to communicate. Whether it was via ASL, or a tablet, or just randomly blurting it out, there was major verbiage improvements due to the NETs (Natural Environment Trials).
