Nancy graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988 and the Washington College of Law at American University in 1991. During her career, she has worked as an intern & law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice Tax and Criminal Divisions in Wash, DC; as a judicial law clerk for the Alaska Superior Court in Ketchikan; as an Assistant Public Defender in Barrow and Palmer; as a Legal Aid attorney; and as a general practitioner.
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Alaska is located in downtown Anchorage in the "Old Federal Building" at 625 West 4th Avenue. This building is across the street from the Fourth Avenue Theater and the Anchorage Visitor's Center. The Bankruptcy Court is on the left side of the building while the Federal Lands office is located on the right side.
