Little Steps Learning Center is a family owned and operated early learning center located in Scituate, MA serving local families with children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. Open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Little Steps offers child care and learning in a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social, physical, emotional, academic and cognitive growth.

We'd be happy to answer any question you have. What are your classroom ratios? Our limited classroom sizes allow us to give your child the focus, love and attention they need.
Our Infant rooms offer a caring and stimulating environment designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Your child will be discovering new things every day by using all five senses, experimenting with toy instruments, exploring textures and colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through playing with teachers and other children.
Our toddler curriculum is individually tailored for your little one, based on their age and stage of development. Our experienced toddler room teachers focus on enhancing social skills, building independence and boosting confidence. Hands-on exploration and interactive activities allow your toddler to reach their individual potential, while preparing for their success in preschool and beyond.
Splashing it, stomping in it, playing with it. It's also a great way to cool down your toddler on a hot summer day. A few inches of water in a water table or a small paddle pool, some plastic containers and a wooden spoon and little little ones will be happy at play in the back yard, deck, or patio.
In our full-day preschool program, we introduce language, math, science and social skills, as well as physical activities such as yoga and gymnastics into our daily routine. During circle time, your child will be exposed to daily songs, the calendar, the days of the week, and a weather chart. Additionally, we review the color, shape and letter of the month.

Little Steps is part of our family. Our daughter attended Pre-school through Pre-K and met some of her best friends here. Our son has been attending since infancy, and is now in Pre-K. He loves school and even asks to go on weekends. The owners and teachers care deeply about their staff, students and families. They pivoted nimbly throughout the pandemic, communicate frequently and have worked hard to maintain a clean and safe facility and a continued positive experience for kids. We are grateful to be part of this care community.

We knew Little Steps was the place for us during our initial tour and we couldn’t be happier with the decision! The staff has made the transition smooth even in a pandemic and are providing our little one with a caring, safe and fun environment. We highly recommend Little Steps to anyone looking for childcare that feels like family.

We are very lucky to be able to send our child to Little Steps. The staff is so friendly and caring every time I drop off my 8 month old he has the biggest smile! They are very good at communicating and have given us a great first experience especially during Covid.

I can't say enough great things about Little Steps and their incredible staff! Finding the right daycare for my first child seemed like a daunting task, but following our tour of the facility, we knew that we had found the perfect fit! Jess and her team made us feel immediately comfortable and confident that our son would be immersed in a safe, fun, and educational setting. Our son lights up at check-in as the staff welcomes us, and throughout the day we get updates and pics through the app. It's a reassuring reminder that he’s in the attentive and loving care of professionals. We send our 1 year old daughter to Little Steps. She loves going to school and has created a loving bond with her caregivers so much so she reaches to them at drop off. The facility is always clean. The owners go above and beyond with cleaning for covid-19 precautions. We always see the caregivers masked. It is a great and safe environment for my growing child. I always recommend Little Steps to friends who are looking. Their communication with families is always excellent.

We have been so lucky to be a part of the Little Steps Family for the last 8+ years. They have loved, cared & educated our 3 children who have thrived during their years at Little Steps. Not only do I have the peace of mind that they are well cared for, they have also entered elementary school more than prepared for the challenges they may meet. The facility is new, meticulously cleaned and updated, and conveniently located in the same building as our pediatrician's office. The staff goes above and beyond with creating fun and engaging activities. They also truly love and care for your children

We feel very fortunate that our son has such a caring and nurturing environment at his daycare. He loves the instructors and loves his friends at the facility. The owners have been terrific during the pandemic regarding new precautions and their new guidelines give me great piece of mind knowing my son will be safe. We also love the fact that his pediatrician is in the same building! Very convenient location too!

We have been going to LittleSteps since they opened and have never been dissapointed. The facility is brand new and very clean. We drive to Scituate from Hanover every day because this child care facility impressed us the most and we can commute to Boston just as easy via 3A. The owners truly care about the kids and have young children of their own. They were very accomodating and provided a tour of the facility.
