I moved here from the Midwest and was worried about finding a new, local primary care physician. Once I found Dr. Brandt, my fears were gone. She and her staff took the time to get to know me and how to treat my various conditions. When she needs more information, she takes the time to order the diagnostic tests to get answers.
I'd recommend Dr. Brandt and her staff to anyone looking for quality health care!

This is my favorite Doctor of all time. I was very sick for over two years and I have Dr. Brandt to thank for saving my life. My Wonderful Surgeon from UC Davis wrote her the most Complimentary Letter regarding her Care. He said to me that she really in truly cares for you health. This was from the Head of Vascular Surgery at UC Davis Hospital.
I am so Fortunate to have found Dr. Brandt.
She's the Best. Tops in my Book.. . .

Doctor Brandt was my PCP for a number of years until I needed to switch insurance providers to Kaiser. She is a wonderful doctor who really cares about the health of her patients. She goes to great lengths to find solutions to our medical needs. I have a history of high triglycerides, and she was the third doctor to try to help me with them. On top of that, one of the medications a previous doctor tried caused fatty buildup on my liver that also needed to be treated. Doctor Brandt tried a number of different methods before trying something nontraditional (at least for treating high triglycerides

I agree with several others about Judith, she is exceptional, however in the last 2 years the front office staff specifically has been rude, short w/me and as I waited in the lobby they turned away a couple with grave concerns for a missing patient when they should have been directed Dr Soliman for help. Tragic situation.
I went for an appointment w/Judith, a 75 mile drive and when I arrived they told me Judith had called in sick and sent me away. Instead I feel I should have been re-directed to another staff member. Not happy

From my experience and my husband's, Dr. Brandt OD has to be the most carry person of her patients that we have ever come across. We are both 56 and 57 years old. Dr. Brandt is my husbands doctor. She is sincerely the kindest most carry person/doctor that we have ever come across. caring enough to make her own calls when the office is closed.
This woman deserves a beautiful vacation for at least a year. But I know she wouldn't take it. She's to busy.
We love you Dr. Brandt and thank you for being the person you are. You truly do care about people and your patients.
I did here that

I have been a patient of Dr. Brandt's for several years and have remained her patient even though I now live over an hour away. Why? Because she is kind, competent, knowledgeable, and she gets to know her patients. Will you have to wait for your turn? Yes, most likely. The office is usually running behind. However, Dr. Brandt does not rush through her appointments, unless most physicians I have dealt with in the past 30 years. Dr. Brandt treats her patients like human beings, not numbers. I have been there more than a dozen times and only once did I ever see a Physician's Assistant

I am writing this for my sister who got totally DEMORALIZED working at this place. It's a poison environment and employees are treated really bad. She's a medical assistant and was "let go" for no reason. The turnover of employees is phenomenal, including with the doctors. You have to see a different doctor every time you go in. Not a healthy work environment and certainly not a place to get well if you are sick.

RUDE and INCOMPETENT!!!!!
Western Sierra Medical Clinic
Sharon Ekedahl is the worst practitioner ever!!!!!! She needs about ten more years of practicing good bed side manners! She acts like she hates people and they are only there to bother her!!!! God forbid any of them might actually be ill and feeling poorly!
I'm only giving one star only because the support staff at this facility is both caring and helpful the actual medical staff however is both rude and incompetent.
Absolutely the most horrible uncaring individuals that I have ever experienced! And I work full time in retail, so I have

Western Sierra Medical Center is my lifeline since I finally found a doctor , Dr. Judith Brandt, who takes personal interest with her patients. Dr. Brandt takes time with me and my questions and concerns and her follow up phone calls ...even on weekends... is evidence of her passion for her patients and our health and wellness. I love the staff , too, as they make you feel like family when you go in for the appointment. Dr. Brandt, I am so thankful I found you and your practice!

This place only has one medical doctor, Dr. Judith Brandt, DO. Which for this rural area wouldn't be too much of a problem, but here they rely heavily on several physician's assistants. If you do not mind seeing PAs, then you'll probably like this place.
Pros:
- Close to where I live, without needing to go through any stop-lights.
- Usually don't need to wait too long for an appointment to be scheduled.
- Accepts a wide-range of public programs - and private insurance.
Cons:
- I don't like seeing physician's assistants and my various medical specialists don&apos
