The most important thing about selecting a yoga studio is you have to feel comfortable while you are there. A good yoga class is supportive and inclusive. You should NEVER feel judged about your technical ability, your body, or your clothes. EVER. This is the founding message of Yoga Power. To reap the benefits in your well being from yoga, we recommend you attend a minimum of three classes per week.
To fully achieve life-changing results, we recommend five to six times per week!

Aerial yoga incorporates silk hammocks into a traditional yoga class to raise your attitude to a whole new altitude. Bungee classes have you strapped into a harness then hooked to a bungee cord to make the class anti-gravity. It is just downright fun and will make you laugh like a child again! Yoga Power offers an array of classes making aerial yoga and bungee fitness suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced yogis.
It's time to roll out your yoga mat and discover the combination of physical and mental exercises that for thousands of years have hooked yoga practitioners around the globe. The beauty of yoga is that you don't have to be a yogi or yogini to reap the benefits. Whether you are young or old, overweight or fit, yoga has the power to calm the mind and strengthen the body.
Led by Jamie Dickenson (E-RYT 500), this Hip-Hop Yoga class is an inspiring vinyasa flow set to your favorite hip hop tunes in BLACKLIGHT. In this class, the serene sounds of waterfalls, birds and wind are replaced with hip-hop and soul tunes from acts old and new. Doing Down Dog to Snoop Dogg in our blacklight room creates a vibe that most neighborhood studios can't replicate.

My friends and I went to a private aerial yoga class with Isabella and we LOVED it! Isabella was so patient with us and helped us try to achieve all the poses. Let me tell ya! Being patient with us was a big deal because we can't shut up or quit laughing for more than five minutes! Being a plus size woman, I was very afraid of the silks being able to hold me up, but Isabella hooked us right up and I felt secure that I would not fall. This class was so much fun and very relaxing. Thank you for having us! And thank you again Isabella for putting up with our comedy crew. We will be back!

Welcoming staff, knowledgeable instructors, and friendly clientele make Yoga Power the best studio in West Virginia. I love that I can have an iced coffee or glass of wine after class in the studio’s café. If you’re looking for a place where you can develop your yoga practice in a fun, clean, and non-judgmental studio, Yoga Power is it!

I have gone to Yoga Power for several events through the years but when they added the add-on membership I knew I had to try it out! I have loved adding guided yoga classes in to my exercise. I also love that they're offering virtual classes right now due to the pandemic. If you're looking for yoga in the Charleston, WV area, try them out!

Supportive, fun, diverse yoga classes, and open workshops taught by wonderful, experienced, professional instructors! Make this studio your home base for all your fitness needs. Everyone cares about you and your wellbeing from the staff that checks you in and greets you as you enter the door to the final namaste in each class. Since this studio opened I’ve taken over 400 classes. Trust me, I know! Love you all.

Yoga, Pilates and isometric style strength training has been part of my overall health routine for many, many years and I have practiced in many studios and under the leadership of many yoginis. Melissa Miller is one of the most encouraging, mindful, and caring teachers I have ever had the pleasure to experience. She is dedicated to her own practice and always keeps her classes fun and interesting and yet challenging too. My body has really begun to see noticeable change from her Yoga Sculpt and Yoga TRX classes. For a solid yoga flow practice Kristen Booker is my go to yogini, her personal balanced

Took a Power Yoga class while traveling through Charleston. Honestly one of the most beautiful yoga studios I have ever seen. Small class size allowed for a lot of personalized attention on inversions, which is something I haven't been able to get elsewhere. With so few health and wellness opportunities in Charleston, I appreciate this place immensely. Keep on keeping on!

I love Yoga Power! From the people at the front desk to the teachers to the owner, everyone is kind, welcoming, and - most importantly - knowledgeable. If you want a funky class (Hip Hop Yoga) or a traditional class (Yin), there is a class for you. I've been doing yoga 20 years, and I take my yoga practice seriously. I highly recommend this studio.

We were stopping by from Chicago and we wanted to do something fun in Charleston. We took two Ariel silk yoga classes and instructors were great, friendly, and patient with us. Interior design is beautiful and well done. We fell in love with this place. And if we come visit West Virginia again, we will definitely stop by. Highly recommend this place.

Great to just stop by for a few classes. Do not under any circumstances get a membership though. It will cost you an arm and a leg to get out of it, and once you do cancel it they will say you need to pay the following month. Went to cancel, was told i had to pay the next month i said fine then i want it cancelled. Paid, and assumed i would be cancelled like two employees that i spoke with said i would be. Nope! Getting calls from them saying i never asked to cancel and asking why my payment is not going through. Rude staff.

This is a gorgeous facility with lovely people working there, but I signed up for a Power Yoga class and got a gentle yoga class at best. I didn't even break a sweat to the point I had chill bumps at the end of an hour class in a 70 degree room. I recommend the class being taught meets what the studio advertises. I truly regretted the hour I lost.

Post business response:
I appreciate your response and the funds from those classes were refunded. I did not fail to report my children's ages at any time, additionally, there were other children under the age of 8 who were present in the classes that I attended. I appreciate the attempt to make it appear that I had been dishonest or failed to disclose anything. In addition to the fact that I answered when asked, my girls are also happy to announce their age at any time - as they did when the older lady dismissed us from the premises.
My complaint was two part, on the mind body app, there

Just moved to Charleston about a week ago and immediately found a home in this studio. They have all types of classes running every hour so you can always find time to zen out. Deanne was an amazing instructor and the rest of the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable even stopping to help me get to know the town better. Definitely worth every penny.

My first experience with yoga was a bomb. I took a beginner yoga class and hated it said I would never be back. Still have not done regular yoga again. But, after seeing people talk about aerial yoga I thought well let's try it look neat. So, I booked a Saturday class and off I went scared to death!!! Loved it!!! Even got my son to do another class with me! I only wish they offered more beginner classes for it!!!!

I came to try acrobat yoga for the first time. Nate and Angie led a great class and had a group of beginners flying in no time.
There is a lot to like about this yoga studio: it's clean and well decorated; the staff is very friendly; there are many class offerings to fit busy schedules; and there's even a bar.
Come check it out!

What a treat to do a trial at West Virginia's #1 yoga studio! Yoga Power is in a building next to a baseball field, with a great view of the Charleston Capitol around sunset and wonderful new amenities. They have aerial yoga, flow, and I tried a restorative yoga class.
I'm usually a bikram guy, but always like trying new things so I signed up for restorative yoga after a busy weekend of driving around, tasting bourbon, and hiking. The music was relaxing and the instructor was very helpful and hands on. In restorative you do resting poses for 5 minutes and use various pillows, belts,
