Inspired by Strawberry Park's natural beauty and vibrant agricultural heritage, we are cultivating a spirit of abundance at Elkstone Farm. On this special land we are growing nutritious food for our neighbors while we nurture a close community. Side by side, we are working with the soil, tasting its fresh produce, and learning to be better stewards of the Earth.

We invite others who share this vision to engage with us so that we can foster growth and prosperity together.

I'm Chef Russell Goodman, believer in the power of fresh local food and cooking methods that allow that food to shine. As a former epidemiologist, I have come to realize the crucial role nutritious food plays in whole body health, and therefore I'm an advocate of food security for all. A core belief of mine is that provenance matters in food.
Sharing knowledge is one of the most important and rewarding things we do at Elkstone Farm. Our farm-based masterclasses will help you deepen your relationship with the land, while providing practical skills that can be used to gain natural harmony and abundance in daily life.

Our instructors, who are masters of their trades, will lead action-based classes and supply uncommon wisdom that will inspire you along your own journey with earth-based skills.Elkstone Farm masterclasses are relevant to this beautiful area we call home, and most classes are accessible to curious people of all skill and knowledge levels.
This is a small share of our most delectable and tender spring greens. A weekly assortment of potentials such as arugula, spinach, mild greens mix or spicy greens mix, baby lettuces and lettuce mixes. Boxes will be available to pick up at the farm in Strawberry Park on Tuesdays from 3 to 5:30 pm.

Elkstone's dinners capture the essence of the Farm-to-Table'' dining experience as the food on your plate comes directly from our gardens, greenhouse and orchards.Depending on weather conditions, dinners will be held in our verdant greenhouse or on the spacious back porch overlooking the aspen grove, and often appetizers will be served in the flower garden.
Join us at Elkstone Farm in the farmhouse kitchen for a special night of cooking and dining with our Executive Chef Russell Goodman. Share a table in the kitchen where you can watch the chef cook, and be served a handcrafted multi-course organic meal of farm-to-table cuisine highlighting the produce of the farm and Routt.

We attended a cooking class and it was so awesome! Chef has science background and explains things in such a unique and comprehensive way! We made pasta from scratch, pesto, salad dressing and risotto which we ate right there at a beautiful farm table. It was fun, educating and tasty! The farm is breathtaking gorgeous. They have a lot of other unique programs that we plan to attend. We highly recommend!

This is one of the most beautiful permaculture farms around and I fell in love with it at first sight. I've been teaching permaculture for 20 years and this site is up there with the Bullock brother's and CRMPI.
