Maybe they should tell you there is a 20 percent gratuity each time you swipe the card.

WAS a cool spot. Literally wore my hoody that’s colorful a week before just for me to come the next week and have the light skin super sweet security guard tell me I couldn’t get in with “baggy” clothes. It’s sad we profile our own people for others approval. Especially when I was just there the week before. Let’s do better. Ain’t my fault I was dressed better than the security. Yikes

I have been wanting to come here for quite awhile. Between reading articles of the various speakeasies around the DFW area and also seeing a music video of a favorite band, Blacktop Mojo, that was filmed at Bodega, I just knew I should come.
We got there early, for Bodega standards, at around 830pm. If you want a seat or have some social anxiety you need to get over by having less crowd first, come early.

Elite Hint: If you smoke or need some air, go out through the plastic curtains because you will still technically be in Bodega. DO NOT go through the exit thinking you need to exit to catch

Very interesting bar. It seems to be a hidden gem. I had a really great experience with a friend here. The entrance is kinda weird though but it's not good or bad.

Such a cool spot. You purchase something in the grocery store to get a code to go into the bar. They had live country music playing when we walked in. Our bar tender, Patrick was absolutely incredible. A bottle of champagne was gifted to us right when we walked in. Rightfully so, I had to take a photo under the wander lust illuminated sign with the bottle. There were pool tables, giant jenga sets, darts & so much more. We couldn't find darts, so we opted for playing jenga. (maybe they had darts behind the bar, but we didn't ask) they mentioned a dj would be there later & I am assuming playing more

The greeters and person making you buy something to get into the club were rude and made us buy something, when people get let in all the time without buying anything. And nobody was there when we got there either... not worth it! Thanks.

Hands down the best bar in Fort Worth. Fantastic staff and Dj's. The party atmosphere was 10/10! This bar has the coolest entrance in DFW, pool table, shuffle board and an outside lounge area too.

Every time I go here, it’s lit af. They have great music and a great DJ. There’s plenty of room to dance and they have a good selection of drinks. I really like that you go through the “fridge doors” to get to the bar like a speakeasy. So cool!!

Not really a speakeasy, but sort of a "speakeasy concept." Enter the front facade, buy a snack, get a code to enter the bar. That was cool. Once inside, there's a DJ, a nice patio, and a back room in which to play pool, darts and other games. And, I know people don't go to bars looking for top-notch, friendly customer service, but, even by typical bar standards, the bartenders at Bodega seemed to be either aloof but attentive, or standoffish but frazzled. At least their drinks were delicious. If you're over the age of about 28, you might as well clear out by 10pm, because that's when the TCU/UTA

5 Stars for the Bar and their staff. Great People. 0 stars for the store.

Avoid the store and the guy with the beard who sits on his phone talking to his mom all day then has the same story why he's out of the same items for 2 weeks. Even better, this guy claims to be the manager. Must be the owners son.

I quit going. The liquor store a block over told me they'd keep me stocked.

This was the coolest hidden speakeasy I've been to yet! It looked just like a little convenient store from the front, just a little shop. You have to buy something then when cashing out you get a code that opens the freezer door and leads to another door that takes you into this huge hidden bar. It was super fun.

It's not fancy by any means so don't expect an upscale speakeasy. Not a dressy place. But very cool disguise. More like a hanging sports bar kinda vibe inside with a giant tv and lots of games: corn hole, darts, ping pong, pool table. Lots of fun!

Imagine walking into a regular convenient store, and after making a purchase, your cashier circles a pin code. You look to your left and see a large metal door with a keypad next to the handle. You punch this particular code in, and at your surprise... you walk into a room where music is bumping, people are dancing, and everyone at the bar is having a hell of a time. That's Bodega. AWESOME place, especially for Saturday nights and special events.

This place is a lot fun!! Obviously the speak easy entrance makes it exciting but beyond that it's a good time usually! They have a dance floor with a DJ so you can dance all you want! They also have an outdoor area with a food truck. Good for groups!

Very fun concept. Large big screen projector with plenty of seating. Table service if you're into that kind of thing. Food truck with games in the back. Bartenders were on point, very attentive and quick. Definitely would like to check this place out when it's not so crowded.

The front of the bar looks exactly as the name states- a bodega. You can follow their Instagram account and read their clues each week to unlock the code to get in. For instance, during the HP pub crawl the clue was about the year the first HP book was published. Drink prices are average, but they do have this slushee drink called tigers blood and it's delicious! Also have a food truck on the weekends available to purchase food from.
