We provide one of the area's largest selections of perennial and annual varieties. Hasting Plants is located southwest of Mount Vernon, Indiana, just off of Highway 69 South. We are a small, family owned business. Owner, Nancy Hasting is a Horticulture graduate from Purdue University. Open since 1982, we pride ourselves on the variety and selection of herbaceous plants we sell.
We are open from mid-March to mid-June. We raise most of the plants we sell in our greenhouses, and have a sales building filled with gardening items. We offer several classes and seminars each spring, and try to stay on the cutting edge of new varieties and garden related products!

Services
We are a seasonal greenhouse operation specializing in annual and perennial flowers. We feel we have one of the best selections in the area and try to live up to the slogan "We're well worth the drive." We do not handle trees or shrubs, or do design or installation work. This leaves us more time to grow and produce the best selection of herbaceous plants for you.

Always friendly and helpful. Mrs Nancy Hasting cares so much about her employees, friends, and customers and that really shows in any visit that you have to her greenhouses. The various plants and flowers that she offers are always top notch and you never leave disappointed, except when you didn't buy the ones you were thinking about. 😉

I live in a very small town. I went to the bank one Saturday morning and saw the most beautiful dahlias I had ever seen in a container. A Hastings poster was in the pot. I left the bank and immediately goggled Hastings. To my dismay I found out they were almost an hour away. I kept considering the comment "We're well worth the drive" so I decided to find out for myself. Boy did I! Once I located Hastings I was ecstatic. Everything I wanted and things I had never seen. I get so excited when my newsletter comes each year. If you've never been you are truly missing out. Forget Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home
