Legacy SAP is offering 6 counseling sessions for Mountain Education Students for $10 a year! Students of Mountain Education have the opportunity to receive short term counseling services as part of the Student Assistance Program (SAP). Sessions are offered in person or virtually.

Services
MECHS is an evening, self-paced, public, high school that grants regular Georgia High School Diplomas. In addition to our full-time students, we serve a population of students who take a class or classes with us part time and transfer the completed credit(s) back to the high school in which they are enrolled full time.
MECHS enrolls both full-time students and credit recovery students and utilizes Online Registration powered by Infinite Campus for enrollment needs. If you have questions about enrollment that are not answered on our website, please reach out to your local MECHS site's Registrar for assistance. MECHS is offering both in-person and Resupply, our virtual learning option, and students are required to choose one option or the other to enroll.
Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) is dedicated to preparing students for 21st century workplace careers by providing high-quality educational opportunities that support the economy with an educated workforce. CTAE integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational skills to prepare students for post-secondary education and the workforce.
All MEC sites offer the Business and Technology pathway and the Entrepreneurship pathway which consists of three classes each. Students have the opportunity to take the end of pathway assessment and earn an industry recognized credential. Three Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications and the Georgia Best Work Ethics Certification from the Georgia Department of Labor can be earned during the Business and Technology pathway.
MECHS provides snacks or meals to students who attend the site for face-to-face learning free of charge. MECHS also participates in the Special Milk Program. We will serve snacks to students as we begin the return to sites for face-to-face learning. The return to full meal service will be delayed until further notice.
