R&D Lawn Care and Landscaping was founded in 1993. Derrick Brown has built R&D Lawn Care and Landscaping into a full service residential and commercial lawn service company. R&D offers a wide variety of services to its customers, including lawn care, commercial and residential landscaping, pond and water features, irrigation systems, hydroseeding, sodding, outdoor kitchens, fire pits and much more.
When it comes to routine lawn care, no one can beat the professionals at R&D Lawn Care and Landscaping. We offer services ranging from full maintenance of your commercial or residential landscaping to a simply "mow and blow." Your lawn is the first thing you see when you pull into your driveway. Your landscaping is the first impression customers get of your business.
Lawn Care and Landscaping feels it is important to aerate your grass because it improves soil drainage. Lawn aeration consists largely of controlling lawn thatch and reducing soil compaction. Lawn thatch is the layer of dead organic tissues that deprive the lawn from its much-needed oxygen, water and nutrients.
Tired of all the leaf removal tools cluttering your garage? You may have a half dozen rakes and a couple of blowers, not to mention a couple of infomercial gadgets that promise to make annual leaf gathering faster and easier. At R&D Lawn Care and Landscaping we use only the best professional weed control products to combat crabgrass and other grassy weeds. Broad leaf weeds, such as dandelions, chickweed, etc. are sprayed with post-emergent herbicides. To build up the health and density of your turf, quality fertilizers are applied during the growing season.

R&D LANDSCAPING - do not use them.....for your HOA. Recently Ownership changed and they have done a horribly job in my neighborhood. The contract was only partially followed, jobs are only half done, owners reported damages, over 120 complains and we had to put them on 30 day notice. Still things got only worse. They pulled a very experienced crew out of our neighborhood, who knew what to do per contractual agreement, replaced them with a totally untrained staff and all hell broke loose. Communication where a problem, as these were folks who did not have a good command of the English language
