Our owner, Mike Easter, was literally born and raised in the fencing industry. He was the only child who made a career working at his fathers', Walter (Charlie) Easter Sr., fence company in St. Louis County which started in 1957. He started as a toddler separating nuts and bolts and fittings. Then in his teens and early twenties, he was placed on a fence installation crew on the various jobsites.
As he grew, so did his responsibilities. He worked his way up from laborer to crew leader through all the sales and management positions one by one until he became Vice President under his father. Mike Easter worked side by side with his father until his fathers' passing in June of 2013. He stayed with the company until October of 2013.

Our goal is to supply and install quality residential and commercial grade fence products at a reasonable cost to homeowners, contractors and businesses. Should be called Heartland Fence Installers, Not "wholesale supply"
I just had a 2 minute conversation with a guy going in circles as to why he can't give me a price for fence because the price changes too often and everything they have in stock is already sold with a deposit on it. I even explained I could come today to put a deposit on incoming materials and would pay the difference of a price increase if it were to happen and he said he wouldn't recommend that, I think he just didn't even want to sell me anything. I called about 8 different fence companies and chose heartland and I am glad I did! Mike was great explaining every option for our yard and did not push on those heavy sales tactics most companies do. They were by far the most competitive, professional, courteous and amazing to work with. His installers held the same expectations and I already have spread the word to use Heartland because you cannot go wrong.
