Do NOT take your dogs! Was in the lake with my dog one time for barely 15 minutes and had to rush him to the E.R vet hospital and get him on an IV because of giardia, a parasite in the water. If you have any dogs I’d recommend not bringing them to this lake. He was having seizures and so sick he could barely walk, we had to carry him everywhere. Ended up with over 350$ vet bill over 15 minutes in that disgusting lake. Humans can get giardia as well so please do not swim in it either.

Boat dock is a boat graveyard that hasn't been sprayed for bugs since the 1980s. It's unfortunate the owners have just decided to collect rent on people's rotting spider covered boats rather than spraying the docks themselves with bug spray and renting them out to people that take care of their boats and actually use them.

Nice place to camp, fun for couples or like myself just went alone in my tent. Nice store with many items about all you would need, boat ramps and fishing then canoe rentals. Cabins, huts, screened in room, RV and tent spots. Note tent spot prices are now $30 per night but the have a water outlet and a 110v plug in at least all the ones that were around me had them. My tent location was a nightmare for stakes but who knows what's under the ground (I do now, lots of rocks). Some of the dirt streets when it's windy kick up a lot of dirt which isn't a season I like on my food but usually it's not

This is truly a best kept secret kind of hidden gem on Lake Somerville. Exceptionally well stocked store with fishing tackle and regular store items on the lake. Super place to come fishing. Might actually be the best. Good workers here. Gas for the boats on the water. Kids will enjoy feeding the intelligent and friendly Ducks. Fishing guide services can be found here.

Very nice park. Clean and well maintained. We had a nice and quiet camping trip, we did however have the occasional person driving fast past our camper either a vehicle or a golf cart. We got there on Thursday and by Friday night they were full. Kind of feel like they put too many Camp spots in the camper section or they're too close together. Overall we had a very fun weekend with the family
