Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Athens is a General Ophthalmology practice providing medical and surgical eye care to Athens and to the entire southeastern Ohio region. The practice was established in 1971 and has been staffed by Board Certified Ophthalmologists since its opening. We provide evaluation and treatment for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and many other eye diseases.
Cataract surgery is a particular area of interest. We aim to provide care in a comfortable and conscientious manner utilizing up-to-date modalities and skills. Dr. Dodrill is a native of Ohio. He grew up in Ashville and attended Miami University where he earned a B.A. in Chemistry. He then earned the M.D. degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University.
