Chartered in 1974, Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union was originally founded by the employees of Franklin Steel. What started as a way for the employees to save and borrow money has grown into a state-chartered, federally insured, full-service financial institution serving all of Venango County. When you join Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union, you are not a customer but a member and co-owner!
Every year, all members of Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union are invited to participate in the credit union's membership meeting. This gives you a chance to meet credit union staff, volunteers, and fellow members. During the annual meeting, we will discuss our financial accomplishments from the previous year.
