I'm leaving LA eastbound and down. Wanted to ensure my 2001 Lexus GS300 with only 80k one owner family miles was worth investing some more $$ in to keep alive. He/she/it needed a head-to-toe once over after being the first car for Thing #1 and Thing #2 .... one of whom had a minor front end event ... then being ignored during "work from home" and here we are. Made an appointment and took my Lexus E350 in for several things on 10/7....an oil change, 65000 mile service, change transmission fluid, wind shield wiper blades and fix a problem with the A/C not always working. Joe called me a while later with the costs.....giving me a breakdown for all the work at $615.20. I authorized the work. He called again toward the end of the day to say all the work was completed. I picked the car up that evening....called Magic the next day because the A/C was still not functioning and we scheduled an appointment to bring the car back in the morning on 10/13. Met

I don't think I've ever left a bad review before. Joe knows his stuff and is pretty cool over the phone and these guys were good the first time I took my car here. The second time was a huge fiasco though. Joe said he thought they'd have my car done that evening so I could drive it home. This was crucial because I live near downtown Los Angeles. Later that day I called and confirmed and Joe said they definitely would have it ready and that they'd leave it in the lot so I could pick it up to drive home. I want start this review by asking 1 question. How much do we relay on our everyday conveniences, i.e, Our cars being on top? Right? There's is no better feeling then when you rely on your mechanic to help me when me car acts up. These guys are 5 stars because of the professional grade work they provide and small town hospitality feel they have that's awesome. Google "how long does it take to perform open heart surgery" and you'll see answers ranging from 3-6 hours. That's understandable as it's a very complex operation. Today, with an appointment, I waited FOUR hours to get TWO brake pads changed. Go ahead and read that one more time and then decide if this is the place you want to give your money and TIME to.

I've been taking my vehicles to Mac for many years and always have had great service never any problems his shop is fair, techs are knowledgeable never been overcharged for anything. I don't take my cars and trucks anywhere else. This shop is trustworthy in my book. I live in hemet so it's definitely worth the drive to not getting screwed at another shop. Honest and fair shop!
Stopped by to get a check engine light and a few other things sorted. They took my car in after getting down my info, fixed it the next couple days and had a surprisingly fair rate for the amount of time and effort they put into it.
Moe went above and beyond to communicate the issues with me so I could completely understand everything that was up. He told me a few other smaller issues he found (and i knew he was telling the truth because i tried messing with those parts lol).
Definitely recommend this place and wish i found them sooner.

They are good with "fixing" one issue and creating another one. They tried to fix a leak by replacing my axles for $800. Get home, leak is worse and now my AC suddenly doesn't work. Take it back, they "fix" the AC they broke and call it a coincidence and charge me $104 but graciously replace a seal for free that had caused the worse leak from the same area but they missed while "fixing" the leak. Have the car back for a day, AC is now making clicking fan noise and won't blow air and then stops completely again. Take it back and they listen and say it

The air started blowing hot in my 2007 Toyota truck and the wife and I were headed out of town the next day.
I called two other places before Magic Auto and described a weird problem. I was getting cool air from one of my driver's vent, but hot air from the other three.
The two places had no clue and told me they would have to look at it next week.
when I called Magic and described the issue to Mo, he knew exactly the problem.
He asked what year my truck was, then proceeded to tell me that in those years Toyota had the cold air diverted to the driver's vent when the freon was going low

I have been going here for years. And I feel silly for not writing a years ago. They have top notch service. 5 stars, fully automated. OVERCHARGED. Incredibly disappointed. Joe told both myself over the phone and my wife in person about ~$500 in labor up front for brakes, rotors and shocks/struts front and rear. The scope of work was very clear, there was no ambiguity about what was involved. When the work is complete, labor is suddenly over $1000 and he acts like he has no idea what I am talking about when I ask what happened to the initial quote. Mind you I am perfectly comfortable rebuilding an engine or swapping an axle. I have a very good understanding when it comes to repairing vehicles.

Knowing nothing about cars, I have my guard up when I need to take my car to the shop. I chose Magic Auto Center because of the great reviews and instantly felt welcome and like family. Joe took the time to explain everything that was happening with my car so I knew exactly what I was being charged for. They know their stuff. The employees are friendly and accommodating, they gave me a ride to and from my house and helped me get my car done in a rush when I had to make it to a gig. Cannot recommend this place enough. No way!!! Joe was super nice at fist & we were so excited we finally found a place we thought was honest, had great customer service & boy did the truth come out. I use to drive a school bus for a living, Im extremely capable and knowledgeable driving my RV. We rent our RV out. Thank goodness we had a video of the last person that just dropped the RV off. We then took it to Magic auto to replace the brakes and get a safety check. Joe was a guy that help to me. They fixed everything on it that need to be fixed. My A/C all of sudden stopped working.
This place was recommended by my friend.
It was a busy Saturday morning but yet our car was diagnosed at a very timely manner. The part was not available at the branch , but they had someone bring it to Valencia branch so we can use the car in the afternoon.
My friend had to leave me at the shop because it was not done yet.it will be a 30 minute wait , but if you have two kids - 30 minutes will feel forever.
I told Moe if we can go to McDonalds nearby and He happily volunteered to deliver my vehicle there so me and my girls don't have to walk back
