Reed Law Firm, P.A
At the Reed Law Firm, P.A., bankruptcy is not something our attorneys dabble in from time to time. We focus on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings on behalf of individuals and small businesses. With offices in Columbia and Florence, we serve clients throughout central and eastern South Carolina.

Our clients come to our bankruptcy law firm during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Their debt is out of control. Creditors are harassing them. They need debt relief now. One telephone call can begin the process of starting over. The press of a button on a computer keyboard can stop a home foreclosure and put an end to creditor harassment immediately.
Services
If you're facing the prospect of bankruptcy, you may be worried about your ability to actually pay for bankruptcy. Local representation: There are large bankruptcy "mills" that handle cases on a nationwide level. You may or may not even talk to your attorney. When you work with us, you'll get the advantage of working with a local firm.
For over 15 years, bankruptcy attorney Eric Reed has focused on helping South Carolina residents facing overwhelming debt. They do not see options. They assume that bankruptcy ended with the passage of new laws several years ago. We strive to overcome those misconceptions and help our clients secure a sense of hope through a fresh start.
For more than 15 years, bankruptcy attorney Eric Reed has dedicated himself exclusively to helping clients through difficult financial times. Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings are not a part of his law practice. They are his law practice. Eric Reed helps individuals and small business owners get a fresh financial start by discharging debt and protecting their homes and other assets from foreclosure or repossessions.
Bankruptcy "asset protection" laws allow people to keep certain assets, regardless of their debts to others. South Carolina placed in the top 10 for states with the highest number of foreclosures, despite showing a decrease from previous years. Zombie foreclosures occur when banks begin the foreclosure process on properties, but then fail to complete it.
Our offices are open during this pandemic. In order to minimize traffic in the office, we are primarily conducting our first consultations over the phone, instead of in the office. Clients may also utilize email and telephone to communicate and provide documentation to us. You do not have to come into the office at all if you prefer not to.

Unfortunately 5 years ago health issues forced me into disability. While awaiting approval for Social Security Disability, I fell behind on my mortgage and other financial obligations. I was searching for someone to help me with a Loan Modification when I selected Reed Law Firm, from the phone book. I met with Eric Reed who listened to my situation, asked about my goals, and suggested a solution. I'll have to admit his solution and mine were different but I decided to go with it. After all, it's what he does! There were bumps and bruises along the way , but every time, I needed anything Eric and

Reed Law firm is exceptional! They helped me through a very difficult financial time and treated me with respect and compassion. They were all quick to respond to my questions, easy to get a hold of when needed, and always kept me informed every step of the way. What I had stressed about for a year was taken care of in a matter of a few months. I highly recommend them.

Eric Reed’s law firm was so helpful and caring guiding me through a very scary time. The process was very thorough, from the very first call with Eric. All of his associates continued the great work all the way through my approval, which was done very efficiently and quickly with compassion for what their client was going through. I would highly recommend anyone going through this very stressful procedure to contact Reed Law Firm in Columbia.

Eric took over my case after the unfortunate death of my original attorney. He and his staff were always quick to respond to my requests. Tina and Eric were professional and helpful every time I sent them an email. They set a high bar for other firms to try and meet in client/customer care. I would recommend Eric and his team to anyone and everyone who needs their service.

Overall Reed Law firm is excellent. The way they work with you and explain the process in detail to prepare you for what you need to do and what happens is great. All of the staff was great except for one. I didn't deal with her (Tina Olszyk) until after I had already completed my process. If I had encountered her when I first started I would have ran away never looking back to find another Law Firm. There was a small bit of misinformation that was provided but they stayed on the phone until they got the correct answer with me as well. If it was for that and the dealings with Tina (Legal Assistant

If I could give this company a negative star I would. I called last week to get a quote from their law firm and I had to keep calling to get answer. When I finally did they was rude and nasty. I wouldn't recommend them to nobody. Stay away.
