But they took the time to answer our questions professionally and we're also friendly and helpful. The Zion Outfitters were great! Our group hiked the narrows from the top down in one day and the shoes and neoprene socks combo was perfect.

Just a quick walk from the Zion Campgrounds, our public shower facility is located on the bottom floor of the shop and remains open during operating business hours. Showers are operated by tokens which can be purchased at the front desk. Our laundry facility is located on the bottom floor of the shop and remains open during operating business hours.
Free parking is available at the Visitor Center, just a short walk from our location. Pair parking is available in our lot while spots last. 2 hour parking in our lot is free. Additional street parking is available in the town of Springdale using parking meters. The free Springdale Shuttle is available to bring you from your vehicle to the park pedestrian entrance (where we are located).
Author's Opinion: I highly recommend this hike to anyone who is visiting Zion. I make a point to enjoy this hike every winter. I love seeing all of the extra waterfalls flowing from the feeder canyons, and the extra water resurrects the moss on the canyon walls, adding greenery to the hike. The beginning of the trail starts at the Temple of Sinewava.

I love the selection of outdoor gear at this place. However a couple days ago I bought a pair of hiking shoes here and when I got home I noticed one of the shoe lace hooks was missing. Also, yesterday I rented the bib package, shoes and neoprene socks to hike the narrows. As soon as I stepped into a couple inches of water I had ice cold water in my shoes squishing around my toes. The shoes were properly laced and fitted but that was no match for a hole in the shoe and sock. My girlfriend and I looked up rentals for The Narrows in advance and this was the first company that showed up so we went with them. We tried on the gear the day before like we were supposed to and everything fit. We wake up at 5:30am the next day so that we could secure a parking spot at the trailhead and by about 7:30 we head out on our hike. I step into the water and I immediately notice something wrong. BLUF: good place to rent gear later in the afternoon but check your neoprene socks for holes.
We rented waterproof pants, neoprene socks, and boots from Zion Outfitters in December to hike the Narrows. It’s was nice they were open until 7pm on Sunday night which is why we went with them. We got our gear and tried it on and everything seemed good until the next morning when we set out on our hike in 40 degree weather. Both of us quickly found that one foot was significantly colder than the other. At first we thought it was just the water still warming up in the socks but after half the hike both

A necessary stop before hiking The Narrows. Renting online is easy and descriptions are accurate. Quick service. I rented the shoes, socks and bibs to hike The Narrows at Zion at the end of December '21. Everything worked perfectly and I was not cold at all. Necessary and highly recommended.
I quickly walked through their shop and I loved the merchandise!

This rental place is located right before the entrance to Zion National Park. It is a must stop if you plan to hike the Narrows. We knew that was our first hike of the day and so we stood in line and rented water socks and shoes. We had our own hiking sticks so we didn't rent those however if you do not have your own I would highly recommend renting one here before the hike. Trust me, you will want a little extra help walking thru the water!

Made our reservations for 5 online, picked everything up that morning (summer Narrows package) without a hitch and had a great time in the Narrows. Highly recommend. The sticks and the boots on the rocks are a must imo. The water can get deep, and rocks can be sharp. Also, the current can easily knock you off balance. Zion Outfitters was easy and just what we needed.

What a great store and offerings before you hit the trails. We reluctantly rented their water boots, socks and walking stick. Even being experienced hikers with ample supplies, this was a game changer! We definitely had a better experience because of these items. Easy in and out rental and returns too!

It’s extremely busy during summer time. I made online reservations for warm weather package (socks, water hiking boots, walking stick) and pickup the day before between 4-8pm. Good quality and efficient checkout. There are several iPads outside the store for you to sign waivers. Once signed, you are good to experience the craziness of hiking the Narrows.

Awesome staff. Gift shop had all kinds of good stuff from magnets to shirts. The rental aqua hiking shoes and socks were in great shape. I was worried that renting hiking boots would kill the experience but not at all the boots were in great shape and made the narrows hike way more enjoyable. Get the walking stick! I used it to check the river depth while hiking.
Parking for Zion is a nightmare so book your bus with Zion outfitters. Well worth the money. No lines and a guaranteed entrance to the park. Park at hoodoos. For a $20 purchase you can park in the lot. Shirt walk to the outfitters. I

Been to Zion twice and have used Zion Outfitter both times for our trip to the Narrows and we LOVED it.
Zion Outfitter is an excellent place to pick up all the gear that you need for your hike into the Narrows.
The gear:
* Hiking shoes that are made for water!
* Water socks
* Walking stick
* Dry bib to go over your clothes
For the entire package, it was $55/person. You can pick up your items the night before or the morning of your hike. We always opt for the night before, just so we can a head start first thing in the morning.
The gear itself is excellent, and I would highly recommend getting

Lots of workers and lots of gear-- we were able to get our size of gear around 11 am, which included a size 8, 12, and 14 shoe! I feel like my pants were a little long on me, but the instructions on how to put the dry gear on were thorough and our entire party stayed perfectly dry from the ankle up. There is a shuttle in the parking lot area that is 35 per person too! (Different company)

COME HERE prior to hiking the NARROWS, for RENTAL GEAR! Highly recommend. Total cost for one person for gear: $45. WORTH IT for you to have a better, warm, safe, dry hiking experience.
I am 5'4 and the water in the narrows at the deepest point came up to my neck. I recommend renting gear (especially now that it is cold and that there are cyanobacteria in the water).
Dry Bib package was recommended during the Spring and Winter when water levels are high and temperatures are cold.

They were recommended for our Narrows hike rentals as Zion Guru stopped renting out theirs. These guys are super professional and educational. We were advised to just get the pant package when we'd have happily paid for the highest package in our concerns for the cold water and possibility of getting wet (as the water wasn't high enough for that package) and also to push our plans to the next day as we wouldn't be able to do anything in 2 hours as we had initially planned. Rented gear to hike The Narrows. Friendly service!! We got help getting the right size shoes and they actually suggested we get the overalls due to the height of the water (and how short we are, lol). They let us pick up our gear the night before since we'd be starting out real early and we returned it later after the hike.
