We just finished remodeling our almost 30 year old pool. Our plaster showed some wear and we replaced it with pebble tech. The waterline tile was outdated so we had them changed to a lighter color. Also our old fiber optic lights quit years ago so we replaced it with a new bright Pentair LED light remotely controlled by our phone.

was showing cracks, and chipping quickly. I choose to replace pebble tech with new color from the boring sidewalk color. Because I have a spool, the company was able to complete in an amazing 3 days. from my first phone call to the office, I felt professionalism, something that's important to me. The team worked hard, cleaned up to my high standards, and today it's more beautiful than ever.

I know that sounds odd , - to say someone was kind, but we are not mechanical people, and Derrick took the time to explain, to make sure we knew what was going on. What can I say about this company...... Stay away. I have been understanding with COVID that issues and delays are going to happen. They quit cleaning pools in the middle of summer when it's impossible to hire another company. I get staff shortage but not returning calls is not acceptable. They fixed an issue with my filter (went bad after first visit) and it came with a warranty. Over three weeks ago the pool filter started leaking at the joints that they replaced. I have been calling and get no return calls for over three weeks. I sent a chat on Friday and was told to call back after the holiday

Where do I begin... But reading all these people's service and quality of their work is all true..... Did anyone know they closed there doors???? I have been emailed yesterday when I left a message for them in why no one was cleaning the pool.... There responds was can't find people who want to work these crazy hours!!! By the CEO??? And other things they have done and quoted me!!!

I own an Airbnb in Phoenix and hired sun state pools in December 2020. It started out great until they changed my pool technician a couple months ago. When they changed my technician they also changed my cleaning day to Wednesday, which is no problem. I have cameras on my property and it showed the new technician would come for MAYBE five minutes, if we were lucky, to clean. Our guests never mentioned anything regarding the cleanliness of the pool so I left it alone. However, the weekend of July 24th we had extremely bad thunderstorms and the guest that was at the house said the auto filler was

As a new customer in the last few weeks, I have spent almost $900 for them to drain the pool, acid wash, repair the vacuum etc. Communication throughout was quite poor. And when they were supposed to finish the job - vacuuming up the twigs and algae, I was told that no az company would service my pool because lightening or rain was present. But I was sent little cheery messages that my pool was sparkling clean - not my pool or recent picture. But no communication was sent to me other than to add water to my pool. No mention about their inability to finish the job and reschedule the time to take

Sun state has been great!!! They respond quick if you have an issue or questions.
We signed up for Chem only for the last year.
We went on vacation and Mike took full care of our pool for the weeks we were gone with no additional charge.
They're definitely on top of their game when it come to pools.
I decided last week to go full service because I trust Sun State and feel they have gone above my expectations before and they'll do a much better job than I could.

I had my pool motor go out, I sent a message to Sun State Pool. They got right back to me, suggesting that the propeller had probably melted. Mike said he would look at the schedule and come out to evaluate the problem. It took a few days to get the new motor in. Mike came out and installed the new motor plus he redid all of my 20 your old pipes. It looks great and my new motor works great!

I was doing business with the same pool company for 13 yrs. I was never happy. They lied to me, cheated me out of money and proper service the entire 13 years. I just sat there and took it because I thought it would be a big headache to make a change. I finally decided I would no longer accept the disregard and abuse. I found Sun State on Yelp. I asked many questions before signing up and they responded quickly each time. Their pricing and services were appealing to me. They had me penciled in within a few days of choosing their weekly cleaning service

My pool pump finally quit on me, so I requested a quote from multiple pool service companies. Sun state was on of the first to respond and able to get out the next day to look at the problem. It was quickly identified that we needed to replace the old pool pump. They quoted me much lower than other places for a brand new variable speed pool pump. The work was perfect and completed in a few hours. They even offered to add me to their weekly cleaning schedule for a great deal. I love what they have done so far and my pool has never looked so good! I plan on being a customer of theirs for a long time
