Glenn Jacobson has been providing counseling services in the Valley since 1982, and has established a strong reputation for thoughtful, professional, and ethical treatments. He graduated from Colgate University and went on to earn a Master's and a Ph. D. in secular Religious Studies from Temple University.
Once we gain a full understanding of the specific nature of an individual's problem, we often help the client understand the "mental mechanisms" of anxiety. Anxiety is often best countered by learning to recognize limits of control, and directing focus to immediate and concrete reality instead of to the "what-ifs" that create worry.
Fortunately, we participate with most of the major insurance plans, which cover virtually all our treatment services. To make things easier, we accept not only cash and personal checks, but also bank and credit card payments. For those of you who do not have coverage or prefer to avoid the hassle of dealing with the insurance companies, we have set our fees to be competitive with other psychologists and providers in the area.
We are on the Northbound side of Route 15. Old School Road is located just opposite Dunkin' Donuts and Dairy Queen. Ours is the first building on the southern corner of Old School Road and Route 15; Brookside Homes' model home is on the northern corner. Our suite is at the far (Eastern) end of the building.
