We pride ourselves in limited class sizes, professional staff, impeccable customer service and our positive atmosphere. We have a "closed door " policy in all of our classes, meaning we do not allow parents in the classrooms while dancers are training.
The DC staff are trained, professional teachers, who love being able to pass on their knowledge and love for dance to children of all ages. We believe that every child can gain something wonderful through dance that will enrich their lives for years to come.
Whether dancing for fun, or training for a professional career, we aspire to instill grace, poise, confidence, and impeccable technique to each one of our students, all the while giving them a wonderful experience in a fun, encouraging atmosphere.

Lisa Fowler, Owner and Artistic Director, established Dancers Corner in 1998 after a 10 year teaching career in the Upstate. Living in the Greenville area for the majority of her life, and dance always being an enormous part of it, Lisa saw and felt the need for a studio that could provide much more than a fun activity for children to partake in after school.
Taylor's love of dance began at the age of 3. She grew up dancing at Upstate Carolina Dance Center under the instruction of Kimberlee Ferriera and Heather Owens. She danced on 3 competitive dance teams until the age of 18 winning three National titles and immediately became an instructor. Taylor has studied all forms of dance including Ballet, Contemporary, Improv, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap and Clogging.

My 6-year-old daughter was on their competitive dance teams. She asked to go to the bathroom during a 2-hour dance team rehearsal. The kids drink water from their bottles all of class as they are thirsty. Other students had been allowed to go to the bathroom but her teacher would not allow her to go. Well, about 15 minutes later, my daughter started crying because she was in pain. The teacher yelled at her and called her a baby for crying and finally let her go.
I texted and e-mailed the studio manager and owner several times. I received no response for several days. My daughter’s dance contract

My daughter has been with DC for 3 years now and has loved every minute! The staff is amazing and always there for you when you need them. They are also great with communication and are very organized which my type A mentality appreciates! I truly hope to be a part of this family for many years to come!!

3yr client & during that time we experienced the following:
Professionalism/Communication –Selective and unorganized. Favoritism and cliques are prominent.
Policies – Very strict expectations when it comes to THEIR needs.
Costs – Recreational: manageable. Competitive: High
Scheduling – For the most part, attainable until you increase involvement.
Auditions – You must pay a fee & audition for all competition teams. Additional fee for solo/duo/trio. Not everyone gets what they audition for. Again, same core kids get awarded. Every. Yr.
Family Atmosphere - They refuse to address issues

Professionalism/Communication -The studio is infused with favoritism & cliques. It's obvious from the outside looking in, whether it's friends or family that have experienced this studio through our involvement. Communication is selective & very unorganized. For the most part, they set the same frame work for events each yr. Team moms are used to disseminate messages to all comp dancers. 1st yr we weren't aware that this was how they communicated. 2nd yr we asked to join in the group chat where messages were
