Services
For you to get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the date and time DUE IN on your rental contract. A valid driver's license is required for ALL rentals. A current utility bill or major credit card may be required as a second form of identification. Required at time rental item is picked up.

Good customer service, but terrible floor sanding equipment. Employee gave us great discount due to equipment mishap, but not worth your time or money. Floor sander not in proper working order and required excess sandpaper that racked up our bill. Edger was even worse. Needed to stop working to bring back in the shop to troubleshoot. Even after bringing back home after employee intervention, it continued to be problematic. Had to then rent a different edger from Menard's. Worked great and was much less expensive. I recommend going there for your rental needs first and avoid the headache from

Went there today to drop off a ladder. We were taking the ladder to where we were told to take it, but then a very rude worker with huge attitude wanted it. OK, but then proceeded to throw it on the ground and walk away back inside the building. That's not how you treat a someone returning your stuff.

Great little rental place. I was surprised at all the items they had for rent. Competitively priced.
UPDATE: I have now rented from this place several times. I really like them and highly recommend them!
One time I had a problem with a water pump (which worked when I took it, but quit shortly after). They definitely made things right.
Another time I called them I needed a stump grinder as soon as possible. They made sure I got what I needed and had it delivered in a matter of an hour!!!

Rented a canoe today. Did the number to trip on the river. Equipment was perfect day was perfect company with perfect and the river was in great shape little shallow and spots but it's been a very dry year. Would highly recommend for a small group or even a church youth group it took us 2 and 1/2 hours to do the trip

I have been renting from Reed’s for years. The past two times I’ve been there, the old man behind the counter has been so rude to my husband. He told him thieves use State ID’s to rent things and made him give him a driver’s license. He has one, so no problem, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired if you’re dealing with the crotchety old man at the desk. I will drive out of my way before I put a dime in this establishment’s pocket again.

Great trips...but the employees could pass for DMV workers. Never had someone selling a service be so short bordering on rude. Called before coming down to check the weather and the river. Lady says you'll have to come see for yourself but the rivers fine. We get down there..tell her which trip we want..but there's only 1 trip available because the rivers too low. She never smiled, never said thank you. Just "sign here and here". And then she said "well you should have come half an hour ago the transport just left and won't be back for at least another half hour"

Fair and reasonable equipment rental. Make sure the machinery is operational before leaving the yard. I have had issues in the past with faulty equipment. The owner gave me an additional day on my rental and a new machine.

I have fond memories of taking Reed's canoe trips many years ago. I've taken my own kids do a few times now and it's still a great time. Reed's drops off and picks you up when your trip is done. They provide everything you need for a safe trip.

I called them to see if they had any stump grinders for rent and I was lucky they had 2 available, where as other nearby places I called had none at the time (or none at all). The older gentleman I talked to, took my name and number and put it on hold for me to pick up that day. When I arrived an hour later, it was there ready to go. The shop boy was helpful loading it onto my trailer. He also did a good job explaining how to operate it and gave some tips on how to use it effectively. Overall I was pleased with my rental at Reed's which was charged at a fair price. PS, when renting ANY equipment

Oh my gosh where do I start. Okay number one the front desk lady was extremely rude. She was rushing us trying to charge us saying we didn't "have time" to combine cash and credit cards yet she had time to check her texts & make a phone call. Horrible customer service. The truck they took us in didn't have a seatbelt for the passenger seat, & was missing a rear view mirror. It was also really sketchy looking, the driver was rude as well too! The ceiling of the van was all torn up. The kayaks looked like they hadn't been cleaned since they opened the damn place. When we finished none of the employees

I had a great experience at Reed's. I went in for an auger and was helped by the owner. He walked me through the different types and got me set up. He even took the time to work with me on returning the unit as I have a very busy work schedule. They took the time to show me how to use it and got it all hooked up and ready to go in a timely fashion. I will certainly use them again if I have any more rental needs

Rented a machine today, had it less than 3 hours picked up at 10:01 and 10:01 is just when i payed i wasnt out of there for about 15 more minutes and back at 12:56 i go back to get another machine at 1 mind u they close at 5 figured at that point if i do 4 hours id just have to have it back by morning and was told that the only way that happens is if i rent after 3, so they will charge u 4 hours at 2:30 in the afternoon and tell u its gotta be back in 2.5 hours or they charge u a whole day? Thats bad buisiness, whatever let it sit in the lot and cost u money instead of make u money! especially
