Trattoria D'Amico
We are 2 siblings, born and raised in Province of Rome, Italy. Our family business starts back in 1973 when our mamma Vilma decided to open a little Trattoria, as the family grew so did the business, until 2016 when we finally decide to move to Arizona and plant our seed of the Authentic Italian Kitchen.

We found ourselves having satisfaction to serve our community, however it was again, time for a change! After 5 years as a family Italian restaurant, we decided to "change skin" keeping our quality and passion for our traditional food. Our mission has not changed, deliver to You the most authentic and high quality Italian experience the you will ever taste.
Services
Our meal prep is divided in Primi (pastas) and Secondi (meat, seafood, vegetarian options) You will have also desserts and sides options. Lasagna alla SicilianaPasta layers, classic Bolognese sauce, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese and bechamel sauce. Pollo alla CacciatoraSliced no GMO Chicken breast with fresh tomatoes, rosemary, kalamata olives, garlic, red pepper flakes and white wine sauce.

Covid friendly, host who was just inside door met us with a clever mask that had a mustache and smile. The food her is always amazing and our beverage was to us in less time than I had to wait outside in 100 degrees to be noticed at obviously not My Wine Cellar. Kudos to Trattoria D'Amica!!!!

It was good and the hospitality was great, something about the sauce (salt, basil) the eggplant was bland even the second day after reheating, the Chicken Cacciatore one again lacking favor but on reheating the second day was good. now maybe it had something to do with Covid however we were told the had white table clothes on the table, I didn't see any.
It was our first time here and everyone raved about the décor and ambiance however I'm not sure why we were not impressed. Sorry to say my sauce is 95% better than this place, Sorry
Will we return?
Yes we want to try the pizza

Wow wow wow! Trattoria d'amico is the real deal. We are an Italian family from Lake Como and we moved to Arizona in 2008. We seek out restaurants with real Italian cuisine and Trattoria d'amico is it. Romolo and his sister Claudia are from Rome and you can taste it in their cooking. For example, their Amatriciana and Carbonara are famous Roman dishes and they do those dishes here the way you would find it in Rome.

Every top Italian chef can whip things up on the fly and tonight Romolo came out, unasked, with a plate of delicious bruschetta with his own pancetta and it was one of

What a treat!! We stopped in because we knew Jesse McGuire was playing, we had already had dinner so we figured we would have a drink and enjoy some great music. While we were there we decided to share some appetizers. The Bruschetta was really good, but the Calamari was AMAZING!! So light and tender, and with a light sauce instead of the typical overcooked and tough calamari with a heavy sauce that you get in other places. This was delightful!!! We will make it a point to be back, and show up early with more of an appetite!!!

Honestly, I am kind of at odds on how to rate this place.
Overall, the place was clean, not overly crowded and had live music. The food was really amazing. I had the Jalapeño Shrimp and my date had the Carbonara and both were delicious and the portion size was large.
However, the service was rather poor. Our waiter was not very friendly and would disappear frequently. The place was not very crowded but, somehow the waiter would avoid our table. Perhaps, this was because there was just 2 of us compared to some of the larger groups and he assumed he'd get a larger tip from the larger tables

This place was amazing! Went for romantic dinner while vacationing and couldn't have picked a better place. Prices were reasonable, they have a nice wine list and they serve Fettuccine Alfredo in a HUGE wheel of cheese. Didn't try it but sure looked decadent. I recommend this place highly.

First class. Hands down one of the best Italian dining experiences I've ever had. The food here is outstanding and as you can see from my video, the presentation is unique and personal which made the whole night that much better. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and always made sure we were taken care of. I have read some reviews about the food taking too long but to be honest, it didn't take any longer than usual. Of course it depends on what you order but in my opinion the chef can take as long as he wants because the food speaks for itself. Make sure you ask about their monthly

Hidden gem! If you want authentic Italian, look no further. Seriously, the other "Italian" options in the Tukee pale in comparison.

Owners are brother and sister from Rome who took over 3 years ago. Service by our server Giovanni was excellent. Do not go here if you are in a rush. They want you to relax and enjoy. Plan at least 2 hours. My mother in law got the table side carbonara in the parmesan wheel. Fantastic presentation. Very entertaining, but the best part is that the dish was delicious! I got the linguine and clams. Highly recommend.

No frills. Just excellent food and great

Spent a relaxing evening catching up with a dear friend who I had not seen in 20 years. There was no wait to be seated. Service was perfectly paced. The food was tasty and appropriately priced for dinner service. The noise level was acceptable with conversation possible (unlike some other Italian restaurants that are so noisy that conversation is impossible).
Parking was ample and close to the entrance. Ambiance was a classy and low-keyed, upscale without being snooty.

Nice place! We enjoyed ourselves for my husband's birthday- great service too. The wine selection offered several options we enjoy. The tables are nicely dispersed- suggesting they care about their customer's dining experience & prefer quality over quantity. I don't like feeling cramped in a restaurant. When your food arrives you realize they believe in quality AND quantity... we each had a little left over to enjoy later. Definitely will go back again soon!

My wife and I had a very busy day and just wanted to go out for a nice relaxing meal. We couldn't have picked a better place. We had their specialty fried mozzarella in marinara sauce as an appetizer which was all Emma wanted and I had their lasagna with bolognese sauce as an entree. What a great meal. Our waiter was excellent and and we were entertained by an amazing artist on keyboards who sure could play and sing. If you're looking to get out on Saturday nights for a great Italian meal and entertainment you have to stop by.

Met a friend for happy hour. Didn't enjoy the $5 Mark West Pinot Noir, but really liked the housemade limoncello! Romolo, a co-owner of Trattoria D'Amico, had me sample it, and after a couple of sips, I knew I'd order one for me and guessed correctly that my friend would want one, too. Alessio, Romolo's brother-in-law, was friendly and patient as I asked a few questions regarding the bread and pastas- are they made in-house? The bread is from a local bakery, and some of the pastas are homemade- gnocchi, ravioli, cannelloni, and lasagna. I already placed an order of Bocconcini

We really enjoy the delicious food and gracious service here. Our server last night was Israel, he was engaging, on top of service without being obtrusive, and even arranged for an off menu Veal Francese for Scott. He understood that we were celebrating my Dad's birthday posthumously and was respectful.

The dining room(s) and bar area are spacious, with votives on the table. Saturday night there was a nice jazz trio playing in the bar, and the restaurant was packed. The bartender served a perfect dry Titos Martini, up with blue cheese stuffed olives.

Started with the warm, delicious bread
