We commit ourselves everyday to making sure that each one of our customers has he best possible experience from when they walk in the door until well after they've left. Well little did I know that I was merely an amateur in what flavor combinations would make a sandwich explode with flavor in your mouth.
I finally gave in after smelling the wonderful smells coming from coworkers desks. Love, love, love the combinations of flavors--so unique and scrumptious! I like how I can rely on the board's favorites, but also swing by for a Daily Special creation.

We really enjoyed our visit. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the Wilmington (Carolina pulled pork bbq w/ slaw and a Kaiser roll). It had a nice kick. Really liked it. My wife had the Chicago (Boars head rare roast beef w/ melted brie, red onions and pepper mayo on a Kaiser roll). Very good mmmm. Cannot wait to go back.

When I go to Chops... I feel like wearing a double breasted smoking jacket with elbow pads, gnawing on the business end of wooden pipe I just finished carving with a chisel I just finished forging, all while wearing hiking shorts and sandals. That pretty much sums it up ya feel meh?
Chops is delicious. They're sandwich wizards. No basic "Club Sandwiches" here. They provide artistic sandwich masterpieces. Curators of Cold Cuts if you will. They can take the glory of Thanksgiving, sum it up between two pieces of bread and call it "The Plymouth". You basically can't go wrong

Brad and the chops staff are all extremely helpful and eager to provide great customer service. My husband and I enjoy boars head. The menu is creative. I love the tea there too. I recommend this place to all my friends who are downtown around markets to pick up or eat in for consistent yummy food. This is a great place to get gift cards too for the holidays! I highly recommend chops deli if you haven't tried it yet. It's a local spot for sure! Brad always stands by his commitment for quality service.

Great selection of deli sandwiches and creative takes on classic side dishes. The owner obviously cares a great deal about quality, but did loudly correct employees in front of the customers a couple times which I found to be in bad taste. Good selection of local beer and very knowledgeable staff made for a great lunch, and a great change of pace from the rows of restaurants offering generic pub fare in town.

My husband and I were visiting the area from out of state and stopped for lunch at Chops. Great sandwiches and great lemonade/orangeade (don't skip these!). We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who obviously loves what he does and cares about his customer's satisfaction. If I didn't live in Ohio, I'd be back here all the time!

Best sandwiches in town, without a doubt. I haven't eaten everywhere in the world but this place actually has the best sandwich I've EVER had: the Malmo. My god it's delicious. Friendly staff, great downtown location right on front street and Miss Vickie's chips are the best! If I'm downtown around lunch, Chops Deli is where I'm eating.

What can I say but......aaaaaaaaaaah! This food is outstanding! The best sandwiches in Wilmington, NC. I had the Tripoli and my wife had the Amsterdam, or at least half because I ate the rest. :-) The sandwiches are pricey but you forget the price after the first bite. Treat yourself at lunch and try Chops Deli.
