The property feautures an outdoor ceremony space as well as a large covered porch option for your vintage style wedding.
The reception space is a historic general store built in 1886 and was moved to the property here in the 1990s. The Store is historically known as the location of one of the last attempted robberies of Bonnie & Clyde in 1934. We have been doing weddings here for over 5 years now. We specialize in more intimate weddings with crowds of less then 150 guests.

We are so excited to share our property Cypress Grove Wedding Venue with you. My name is Ted and my wife's name is Joy. We are young empty nesters who returned to our hometown and purchased this property back in 2016 after living away for many years. We live on the property next to the venue and love being on site to get to meet so many awesome couples through this wonderful experience of planning their special wedding weekend.

This venue is absolutely beautiful, from the ceremony area outside, the beautiful reception hall, the bridal college, the barn, the lodging house on the property... all absolutely stunning. It's wonderful to have access to the entire property with your family and friends, if it is in your budget absolutely go for it you will not regret it!

This venue is absolutely stunning! The price is amazing for what they offer and the owners are the sweetest people!!! If it’s in your budget I 100% recommended renting the venue, bridal cottage and man cave for the whole weekend. It makes the experience that much smoother!

Cypress Grove gave us everything we were looking for in a wedding venue! It was a relaxed vibe, gave me the opportunity to DIY all my decor and allow my imagination to run wild, and allowed us the venue all weekend to really soak in all the love and celebrating that we possibly could! We loved having everyone most important be able to stay right on the property; that made everything that much more convenient! The owners are just absolutely lovely and take the time to answer any questions you may have during the whole process. We loved it all and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful start

This venue is very charming!! Decorating was so easy because the venue stands out on its own. Working with Ted and Joy was such a breeze. Questions were quickly answered. All the accommodations of the Prairie barn, bridal cottage, and venue were spectacular. Our wedding day was absolutely the beginning of our most favorite fairytale!

Mrs Joy and Mr Ted made sure my HUSBAND and I had the most flawless experience. There was no stress just pure enjoyment. I can’t put into words how amazing our experience was. Ted and Joy were wonderful to work with and the venue and environment is perfect. It’s intimate, homey, but I’m a classy way. It was the rustic barn feel I wanted but with a classic Beauty and the Beast vibe. They have so much there for you to work with, between all the signs you could ever need to the perfect detail pieces like mismatched colored vintage goblets, bud vases, lanterns in every size, and candlesticks.
