I started my Action Karate training about 3 years ago. Because I wanted my children to get excited about martial arts, I enrolled myself. The training, the instructors, and the life lessons I received all exceeded my expectations. The student creed, which is recited at the beginning of every class, speaks of confidence, knowledge, strength and honesty. These values are the core values of a black belt and Action Karate. Every class hones in on an aspect of each of these and the instructors are trained to help everyone excel in these areas regardless of their skill level.

Avery’s black belt journey (age 9); My black belt journey started when I attended a birthday party at Action Karate for one of my friends. I had such a good time and really liked Miss Pam (it reminded me of my favorite movie- Kung fu Panda 😆) so I decided to try some classes. I loved karate instantly and knew it would be “my thing”. I remember having so much fun at my first promotion and watching the demo team thinking they were so cool. Here I am now, getting ready to promote to black belt and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. I still love karate as much as I did in the beginning

Before I started martial arts I was emotionally unstable, lacking social interaction, and a child with unsafe impulses that I couldn’t control. I was getting treatment but it wasn’t enough. I needed something else to help me get through my roller coaster of emotions and boost my confidence in myself. So I turned to Action Karate and began my journey to a better me. After four years of training at Action, it made me a better person and taught me how to control my impulses, self discipline, self control and how to balance my emotions. Yes, I slip up once in awhile but nobody’s perfect and we

It all started when my best friend asked me if I wanted to start karate with her. At first I didn’t know what to say, but then I decided to say yes. We went to our first class and I was really nervous. We did some exercises and self-defenses and then at the end of the class we earned our white-belts! I was excited because I really liked it. It was a struggle when I first started because I was new at push-ups and squats, but soon I figured it out and I became a pro at them. It took me almost 3 years to get where I am now, 2 classes a week, but I managed to accomplish every attendance star we earn

My black belt journey began August of 2017. Me and my mom had been looking for a karate school to enroll in and I am super glad I chose Action Karate Quakertown. When I first came I had a private lesson with Ms. Pam (I did not meet Ms. Jess til my second class). Ms. Pam taught me the student creed. After 30 minutes of my mom and Ms. Pam talking, she gave me my first ghee. The next day I had my first class. I learned a bunch of stances and my first self-defense, hook punch. After my first cycle I did not get any stripes in fact not until black stripe testing of my second cycle I did not even have

So my amazing journey with Action Karate started in the summer of 2017. My then 6yr old won a free 2 week special to try it. We attended, had fun, and was going to leave it at that. With the dedication and compassion of the instructors they worked with us, encouraged us to stay a part of martial arts family. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.
I personally have grown in many ways. I have grown mentally, physically, emotionally ... and have fell in love with martial arts In Action Karate.
My son and I attend classes every week. In the beginning we only did the minimum classes required. There

My son Ethan, began his journey to Black Belt at Action Karate about 2 and half years ago. The changes I have noticed in him during this time have been enormous. Before he began taking karate he was fairly timid and unsure of himself. He was uncomfortable having attention focused on him. He was also rather clumsy and not very athletic.
Since he has joined the Action Karate family and has been taking karate classes several times a week, his confidence has improved. He tells my husband and I how accomplished he feels about getting his new belts and reaching his goals. He is pleased when his instructors

Mrs. Pam and Ms. Jess are amazing and I could not thank them enough for all they do. When I asked my daughter why she was likes karate, she replied, "I like knowing I can defend myself and it makes me feel strong and confident." Thank you Action Karate for giving our daughter true confidence, knowledge in her mind, and strength in her body. You truly are ASAH Awesome.
