There is no other coffee house like Cafe Paradiso. Featuring friendly service, a casual atmosphere, support for the arts and music, it really can't be beat. You won't find a cafe like this in Iowa City or Des Moines. And, the coffee is outstanding. I have tried cafe's all over the country, and haven't had as nice of a cup as I have had in Fairfield!

Cafe Paradiso is Internationally renowned as an intimate live music venue with national acts playing weekly for an enthusiastic and appreciative listening room audience. I'm sitting outside Cafe Paradiso a.k.a. CafeP soaking up the sun and drinking my morning cappuccino with owner Steve Giacomini, while he describes his first experience of coffee.

About Us Report
Cafe Paradiso was born out of one man's pure passion for great espresso. Owner Steve Giacomini has created his own unique blend of organic (when possible), shade-grown coffee beans, which he roasts daily on-site. This premium, ultra-fresh coffee is ground fresh for every cup to make truly exceptional espresso based drinks.

Cafe Paradiso's Fairfield Muse is an octopus alright. One big, fat, slimy lump-Paulina, and 2 slimy scrawny tentacles- Steve Giacomini and Tim Britton. Well I guess that makes it a dupus....

Fantastic little spot.Great cortida/ cappuccino. Ryan and Cameron , and Sacha all make such great drinks with so much care. Also our new apprentice with her bindi and Armand. Lovely spot. Try the cran orange scones!

Great drinks and delicious desserts. Staff is pleasant and always greets you as you walk up. Cameron and Sasha definitely have a very friendly welcoming attitude. Prices on par with all the other coffee cafes in town.

My mochanut latte was so perfect today! And came so quickly! Can’t wait till we’re indoors and can tip without them having to ask. This place is the best of the heart of town.

This is a cornerstone of the community. Great place to hang out. Live Irish music every Sunday afternoon, open mic Wednesday evenings, and other live music regularly.

I enjoyed the strawberry cheese danish. Very buttery and creamy. Just wished it came warm or they had the ability to warm it. My total was 4 dollars and some change just for the danish.

Their morning brews are wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable baristas. Their food is good too.
I enjoy going to some of their events. There is so much diversity I can introduce my kids to.

Wonderful caffeinated drinks. Try the mint cappuccino and mocha or really just about any drink. They will try to make any drink just as you want, which is hard to do, but really appreciated. It's right on the FF square which means you can enjoy your drinks under the shady trees if you want. There is usually a line which can be slow, so be prepared for that. They also serve excellent pastries and cookies. Ps the baristas are really cool.

I love this place. It's open and airy and lovely. The coffee is made really well by people who really care about making good coffee. They also have kombucha on tap, which is amazing...I just happen to get there when they've run out quite often!

It's a good place to eavesdrop on interesting conversations, meet new people, find a temporary muse, or just sit and enjoy your own company while in the presence of others.

I love this cafe so much. The staff is very kind and gets your order completed quickly. I really enjoy their espresso and I would recommend getting a latte with amaretto flavor. Their bagels and cream cheese are also good, and so are their cupcakes.

Must must must must go here if you haven't been.

One teeny complaint is that the counter area where you order drinks is hotter than Hades. Owners, please fix the climate control? Thanks!

Paradise... For flies. There must have been at least 50 in the place when I stopped there hoping to relax with a good coffee. I had to leave because they were landing all around me and the food case. So gross.

Nice vibe... Great cafe! A bit pricy but a cute little place to stop through. Some days they have selected music entertainment. Other local cafes are a bit larger with more selection.

Try the London Fog! Excellent! The four stars are for their prices otherwise it would be 5 (besides the frequency card) they need to have various discounts - also their lounge and stage have a perfect, relaxed feel! And the location is ideal!

This is a truly unique coffee house/music venue!
Really wonderful free trade coffee, both Almond Milk and Soy Milk for us vegans to enjoy with our brews! Nice selections of menu items for hot food and bakery goods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner experiences!
The place was pretty packed on Saturday morning at 11 am.. And I realized why when I was there! Great service,clean bathrooms, amazing hot drinks, and local Kombucha.

They have live music here as well, and the stage is really cool and has a beautiful mural behind it. They have a songwriters night once a week, and would be a great
