The Tan Line has been in Service for the past Twenty-seven years. Currently, it is owned by the third set of owners Chris & Shana Ritchie; who purchased this great business in April of 2018. Making this their second buisness and forth buisness venture. Along with their seven kids, they want to continue the great tridition of providing the best customer service for those seeking a tan.

We had scheduled two hand held tans a week prior to the appointment. We went to our appointment and were told that the person doing our tans was “running late.” Then we were told she “hasn’t checked her calendar,” and finally that she was “on vacation.” Apparently the owner is the only one on staff who can do a hand held tan. So we were just out of luck. Thank goodness Paradise Tan was right down the street and we went there. If you need a tan for a specific occasion, I sure would not go to The Tan Line.

I have only been here a few times but the service has been exceptional and I'll most definitely will be a returning customer. The owner was awesone and answered all of questions. This was my very first time going into a tanning salon!!! The customer service is AWESOME!!!!

The owner is one of the best people I have ever been blessed to meet. Best prices in town on tanning lotions without a doubt. I have lived in High Point my entire life, and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. Good vibes and great conversation! Plus you get to talk your cheeks lol.

What a treasure I've found! The owner does the best hand held spray tan and is ALWAYS so friendly and willing to work around my crazy schedule. I've had a skin cancer but love some color and she is spot on every time. Best 15 minute therapy session and I leave a happy and tan client

I am an employee in the Emergency Room and it is very difficult to find a tanning location that offers extended hours like this facility does. They have the BEST monthly deals for tanning specials and the employees are very personable. The owner of the shop is actually there [a lot] which to me makes it a great business. I would highly recommend this place. It is in a great location, right off of the main street, and close to the interstate! I'll never need another tanning facility, now that I have found this one! The Tan Line has reasonably-priced packages and is easy to get in and out of. They also take appointments if you need to guarantee a certain time. It's a little easier to get in without a wait in the earlier part of the day. Lunch time and rush hour are understandably crowded. The staff is courteous and the beds are clean with good bulbs. The laminate floors could stand to be mopped more often, in my opinion, but are preferable to the carpeted floors from before. Overall, I am pleased with The Tan Line and would recommend it to others.

This is by far the best tanning salon in town! And I've been to many... The owner Lori Shelton and her staff are very knowledgeable about the tanning industry and all of the new styles and trends. If you want to tan somewhere that is clean and neat, plus has great beds then- The Tan Line is the place to go! I've been a loyal customer for years and plan to be for many many more. I LOVE The Tan Line!
