Started in 1993 in a little lean-to shed, Two Sisters Bakery has grown over the years to fill a beautiful house with a wrap-around porch, right down the street from Bishops Beach in Homer's historic Old Town.
With a landscape of glaciers and volcanoes surrounding us, we celebrate our community connections with children playing in our play yard, a fire in the hearth, pies cooling in the window, and delicious local produce gracing our dishes whenever possible.Friends are the family we choose for ourselves, and we are happy to have chosen to be sisters.

Do. Not. Miss this place if you are in Homer. Everything we got was totally amazing. We even got extra sandwiches at 10am one day which we ate at lunchtime the next day on a hike and they still tastes fresh as anything. Check the opening hours because we went back another morning and they weren't open. You'll kick yourself if you miss it.

I had the biscuits and gravy. It came in a large cup. For a moment I was stunned. I didn't order a big gulp. There were two crusted biscuits drowning in wonderful rich sausage gravy. So often there is never enough gravy. This time it should be labeled "Gravy and Biscuits." The biscuits held their own, not at all soggy. Great execution. Dreams do come true. Sorry no picture, not enough will power to pause even for a moment.

We arrived at 10am to a short line which was worth the wait. i got the sticky bun, jalapeño bun, fruit hand pie and the rhubarb danish! Sticky bun was very sweet and kinda messy to eat but super good flavor. The rhubarb danish was the standout for me. Loved the flakyness! Overall super cute friendly store and everything seems very handmade so it was a nice stop in Homer.

Ordered cinnamon rolls and they were not worth the $4 per we paid. There was no cinnamon/sugar filling like you get with literally any other cinnamon roll like Pillsbury or Cinnabon. Esentially what we got was a spiral croissant with a little icing on top. Other things might be good cause there was a long line but I wouldn't recommend the cinnamon rolls to anyone.

So good! Highly recommend the jalapeño cheese bun, it was delicious and packed full of cheesy jalapeño goodness. The staff are all super sweet, too! I also saw that people were complaining about some of the art pieces & such that they have out front being "too political", but I think it was great to see a business with values standing up for what's right.

We ordered a veggie focaccia. Based on the description of the salesperson, it sounded like a mouthwatering delicacy rivaling three-star Michelin-rated options.
The reality however was different. You would need a magnifying glass to detect the veggies in the focaccia. It was like 95% bread and 5% veggies. The taste was nothing to write home about.

Absolutely superb bakery. The artichoke-tomato-spinach savory pastry and the jalapeño-cheddar bun were the stand-outs. BLT baguette, turkey focaccia, apple-rhubarb hand pie were also well worth sampling. Didn’t make it out of their garden before having to go back for a second round. Would love to return a third time.

This was my favorite place pre-covid. Everything they had was delicious and their dinner was best in town. Now it's definitely not worth the long wait in line. Turkey focaccia was my go-to lunch item in homer. Just got one today and I regret wasting my money and lunch break. Definitely smaller but $1 more..the sauted veggies it had before are no longer there..Very thin amount of turkey..white focaccia instead of the delicious multigrain they had before.
Maybe their other baked goods are ok but I'll never know. If you're looking for great food that is consistent and won't disappoint try Latitude

I love two sisters so much. One of our favorite places in town. We love to come here and have some pastries and then sit at the beach to enjoy them. Our personal favorites are the danishes and the savories. The scones are not as flavorful as the other pastries but still are pretty yummy. I have had one of the cakes as well and it was pretty delicious. The savories are the perfect thing to grab for a light lunch. I regularly get the ham and cheese savory. The raspberry and cheese danish is my personal obsession and always try and order one.
We also frequently get lunch here. The sandwiches are

Your trip to Homer is incomplete without visiting this bakery. We tried a couple of the vegetarian buns and went back in 10 mins. to buy more. The sisters are so warm and will do their best to make you happy. I was pleased to see that in spite of the pandemic they are doing a fantastic job of offering some baked treats to the community. Every neighborhood needs a bakery like this one!

My son and I stood on the porch (with our masks on outdoors) in line for awhile and I finally left and waited in the car! Definitely not worth the time spent in line. I really don't appreciate all the political messages when all I am trying to do is get a decent cup of coffee. Stick to making baked goods. That would be my recommendation and leave the politics aside!

A must stop in Homer! The bakery is not only very cute, but incredibly delicious! We shared a cheddar jalapeño bun (just the right amount of spice and SO much cheese), sticky bun (out of this world, you have to try), raspberry scone (somehow not dry, even Allison Roman would love this) and the chocolate bread which was sooo delicious and even better than my normally preferred pain au chocolat. The white trash loaf is also amazing and tastes just like the bread my grandparents and I made growing up, but even more delicious. Very affordable prices. Go early if you want the full selection.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. No place for politics.
The food was actually really good, but be prepared to wait awhile. There was already 15 people ahead of us when we arrived right at opening time. There are definitely ways to improve this establishment:
1) Since line is so long, consider placing the menu in an area where those in line can view it rather than at the ordering window. Those who aren't familiar with the baked goods ( like me) may take some time to determine what they want, which increases wait time.
2) Don't ask people if they need napkins. Just assume they do.

Great for a quick breakfast stop! Still closed indoor due to COVID restrictions so we ordered from the patio.
We ordered:
- jalapeño cheddar bun (it was SO yummy. Must get!! They had just gotten fresh batch out of the oven when it was our turn in line. Very very happy with this pastry)
- rhubarb pastry (pastry is very flaky and compliments the semi sweet rhubarb. Overall husband was happy)
- artichoke, spinach pastry (loved it. Must get)
- pumpkin squash soup with bread (creamy, hit the spot, great choice)
- lattes + americano

Love love this place! We just recently tried the food/ patties/ coffee for the first time and we were not disappointed! The cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are to die for! Also those items runs out quick so call ahead of time when they have then available or if you want to take a box full home with you. The workers were great and took their time to answer all questions about their menu. Highly recommend!

One of our most favorite places. Beautiful, kind people and incredible food. Good options for vegetarians and we love the soup! Definitely try the cookies with the little ginger pieces. Reasonable prices. We love that they support local businesses and have locally grown products used with their items for sale. If we lived in Homer full time we’d be here every week. Looking forward to heading there soon.

We came here because of the Amazing Yelp reviews and YA'LL WEREN'T LYING!!!!
We came here earlier in the day for lunch and the line wove all through the entire restaurant. We found out why once we had our first bites.
We ordered various pastries, many of them vegan for our daughter to enjoy as well as their veggie pesto savory and we sampled their soups.
Everything was so outstanding that we returned for their legendary dinner the next night. We had a seasonal vegan field roast that was out of this world that we finished off with an even more incredible selection of desserts.

Omg! What a great find! My Husband and I found this place on our morning stroll. Stoped in and ordered the blue cheese bacon mushroom scone, ham and cheese croissant and kiwi strawberry scone.
All were freaking fantastic. You can see the ladies in the back working the dough by hand just how I do it at home. We took our coffees and treats out to the back porch to look at the ocean and breathe the fresh sea air.
I highly recommend this place for a homemade early morning treat!
Btw, we got here at 7:00 when they opened and by 7:20 there was a line all of the way out the door.

After strolling Bishop Beach we stopped here for some food and wi-fi.
We ordered the pesto and tomato (sort of like a calzone), and the sausage and squash soup. The pesto is different. It was OK, but not as good as I expected. The soup surprised me and was good, served in a large bowl. I'd get the pesto 2 stars, and the soup 4 stars. Normally I like pesto and don't like squash. Go figure. Just shows it doesn't hurt to try something new.
They use fresh ingredients here, and apparently even grow some of their own (we chatted with on of the ladies tending the garden outside

Great place for a quick breakfast/dessert. You just walk up to the counter pick out what you want, pay for it, then go find a spot to sit. They have a nice little back deck for you to sit with your dog or let your kids run around and play.
It's an old house with your standard little bakery/coffee shop with local art, an antique smell, and sweet down to earth character.
We had their veggie quiche, chocolate chip cookie, lemon bar, raspberry rhubarb crisp, and another breakfast item that had tomatoes, basil, spinach, and cream cheese. It reminded me of a fancy hot pocket with cream cheese

Two Sisters Bakery is a must stop if you are in Homer for more than a day. They are yummy for breakfast and lunch, and have delectable baked goods.
For my stop we had breakfast and I enjoyed a fresh onion bagel with a generous portion of cream cheese. It was baked evenly and full of flavor. My friend had the biscuits a gravy (special) and it was a generous portion. It looked like soup - dumplings. But she enjoyed it very much. She described the gravy as savory with the biscuits as savory. We shared a fresh chocolate bun that was still warm.
