Services
Instead of endless rows of equipment or one size fits all classes, our team of coaches provide experienced and individualized support every workout. Many gyms advertise a low monthly price, but stack fees on top of it. Their memberships effectively just let you walk through the doors without teaching you how to safely use the gym or be successful.
Convergence PT and performance is dedicated to providing high quality physical therapy and personal training in a one-on-one cash-based setting. We specialize in both high-performance rehabilitation and safe training for everyday people who are tired of living in pain. We believe in the integration of the whole body during the rehab process to get better, faster!
Chris has been a Personal Trainer and High School Track Coach since 2004. He coached the Throws for 3 seasons at Springfield High and 4 seasons with North Eugene High. He has been a certified personal trainer since 2008, and currently holds certifications from APEX, NESTA. He also is certified to do the Functional Movement Screen, and is a Certifed Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition.
Packages of personal training sessions are a great option for people wanting a high level of service, but would only make it into the gym a few times per month. Monthly memberships are great for people who will be in the gym multiple times most weeks. Coaching sessions are effectively personal training sessions on a monthly subscription.

I had this lower back issue that kept preventing me from making any progress. Chris showed me how to not only take away the pain and tightness, but also how to prevent it from happening in the first place. I'm now about a year from when he first started helping me and it has made a significant impact on my health and happiness. Thanks Chris!

This gym is amazing. Having coaches available throughout my workout has been invaluable in my over all improvement and health. As an older/elder person, I am careful who is working with me. These folks know what they are doing. After working with the coaches, my knee and shoulder are finally strong and pain free. This model for a gym is innovative; these folks are excellent. They are also providing a safe, clean, highly sanitized, extremely socially distanced workout during the COVID pandemic.

18 months ago I walked into this gym. I was very out of shape due to pain from hip and back issues. Every new exercise I tried caused pain and I was getting to where I didn't know what I could do. My pain was extreme and always there. I was exhausted all the time. I started coming to the gym. My first program was nothing. Barely any weight, very few movements. But over the next 18 months I gradually increased my strength and ability. I had flares along the way but was encouraged to always come in no matter how I was feeling because there is always something you can do. That kept me from sliding

I could barely walk into the gym a month ago. I couldn’t bend over to tie my shoes. My back and left hip hurt constantly, and both feet felt perpetually “asleep.” Today I can walk with ease. Finish 3 sets of squats without hip pain (a movement I was apprehensive of), and bend over to tie my shoes. My back is getting stronger and healing. I’m stronger all over and can feel it. Those are all huge benefits! But the really exciting thing is that I truly look forward to going to the gym. Learning how to move, what muscles to engage, and that movement is possible even when you barely feel like

I am glad I joined Cascade Peak Performance! Chris and Alex greet me by name when I come in, say good-bye and ask when I’ll be coming in again when I leave. In between, I get excellent coaching and lots of encouragement. My workout is personalized for me and most days takes about an hour. It varies depending on how much I talk! My only regret is that I drove by for over a year before stopping in to learn about the gym. If you’re looking for a gym, I’d like to encourage you to stop in and talk to Chris and Alex. Cascade Peak Performance is a great place to work out!

Cascade Peak Performance is an excellent gym to attend to reach your fitness goals. When I initially joined the gym, I was afraid I would feel really uncomfortable and that my fitness goals would not be reached. Chris however, made all of that unease and fear change. He showed me that my goals were reachable. He is also easy to build rapport with and makes you feel at ease with his patience and encouragement.
