Captain Jake gave my family’s time slot to another group stating I did not send a $50 deposit. Through email exchange, we both discussed sending the deposit via Venmo was the best option. I did so the Sunday before our cruise for Tuesday evening. Jake and I discussed over the phone and said he did not see the Venmo transaction email confirmation, hence why the cruise was given to another group and nothing else could be done. I expressed my disappointment and asked how he planned to rectify the issue. He was clear that this wasn’t a business, but a “hobby”. He was arrogant, rude, and displayed

We had a great time on LBI boat tours! Captain Tom and Max were wonderful! Captain Tom answered all of my questions leading up to it very quickly and was so accommodating for our group of 13 girls at my sister’s bachelorette party. The boat ride was very relaxed and we brought our own music, drinks and snacks—overall we had a blast! It was the perfect activity for a fun bachelorette weekend in LBI!

This is the second year in a row we have taken a tour with Captain Tom. It is a wonderful experience. You learn the history of this gorgeous place and see its real beauty. I took my son, his wife, and toddler aged grandchildren. The ride was lovely. I can't wait for next year--this is a new family tradition.

Captain Tom is hands down one of the best boat captains! His tour was amazing. Loved the history of LBI as part of the tour. It was fun for the whole family - we had little kids with us - and we were able to relax!! If you are looking for a 2 hour water excursion I'd definitely pick this. Thank you for a great day Captain Tom.

My husband and I took a tour of the LBI bay area with Captain Tom and another very friendly couple. We saw places we we did not know existed. We especially were awed by the area at the southernmost point of LBI where the bay and the ocean meet. Captain Tom is knowledgeable; he shared many interesting facts and stories about the area. When we spotted dozens of dolphins in the bay - an unusual occurrence - Tom stopped the boat and let us enjoy the sight! We would highly recommend this tour, and we intend to take it again at our next opportunity.

The owner, Tom, was super accommodating and made our first family boating experience a success! Our kids (3 & 9) immiedaitely asked when we could go again! He was knowledgeable about the history of LBI and the surrounding area which was so interesting!! We are looking forward to our next trip - we will definitely make this an annual thing!

Went with family for Memorial Day weekend and despite the gloomy weather, we managed to have a great time once we found Captain Tom with his beautiful boat, Fishful Thinking. Definitely recommend Captain Tom for a boat tour because he knows the waters rather well and gives his passengers a fun experience. Looking forward to returning later this summer!!
