Services
Shelby Miller is the founder of RUMA Medical Aesthetics. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree from Gonzaga University. Shelby is a skilled cosmetic injector and well known in the medical aesthetic industry for producing natural, transformative results. Shelby is a national trainer and has educated hundreds of medical providers in the aesthetic community.
Botox and Dysport are the perfect solutions to treat and prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and deep facial furrows. Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable that improves the appearance by destroying fat cells. PRP/PRF, or "Liquid Gold" as we like to call it, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body.
Shelby offers private advanced technique trainings for providers with a minimum of 6 months experience injecting full time or one year injecting part time. She will instruct the provider on patient assessment, anatomy, and advanced techniques of their choice as previously discussed with her. Shelby is generally 2-4 months booked out for training sessions.
Botox Cosmetic and Dysport are the perfect solutions to treat and prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and deep facial furrows. They work well on crow's feet, horizontal forehead lines, and the frown lines between the eyebrows. Most procedures take only 10 - 15 minutes, allowing you to return to your daily activities in a flash!
The facial fillers used at RUMA are made from hyaluronic acid. The use of fillers can eliminate wrinkles, plump, and hydrate lips, replace soft-tissue volume loss, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, especially due to sun damage and muscle movement.

Traci @facebytraci took the time to educate and helped me choose what treatment she thought would be the best for me. I had my tear troughs done, not painful at all, no bruising, no swelling, I could see the difference and I was very pleased. I live in SLC and Lehi is not close, but it's easy to find, right off of I-15. I wouldn't trust my face with anyone else.

I've been hesitant about getting fillers and Botox, as it's been difficult to find a provider who not only knew what they were doing but gave you results that make you feel like you're still yourself but with a "glow up". I went into my appointment with a specific area I wanted treated and Shelby gave me a full and very detailed assessment. I was very hesitant on starting over with a new injector since I just recently moved to Utah, but RUMA Aesthetics is the prettiest and most professional place I’ve ever been to!! Dani was my injector and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time throughout my chin augmentation. I will continue to go with her for all my filler and Botox!! She’s amazing! If you’re hesitant on going here or even getting filler it was totally WORTH IT! Spend the money and look flawless :) love it here!

Dani was amazing she took time to explain in a very detail way the process that I was going to go through. She was gentle and made sure I was comfortable, she also had a very cool playlist and had a nice warm conversation that kept my mind off things while she was injecting. I can’t say enough GOOD things about Ruma and more specifically Tessa who I was able to receive treatment from. The facility is incredibly beautiful, clean and professional in every way. If you are lucky enough to meet and work with Tessa, you will not be disappointed. She is the BEST! Her knowledge and confidence in what she does made my experience far better than I could have imagined. My experience at RUMA Aesthetics has been amazing! Their staff is PROFESSIONAL, services executed SKILLFULLY and their products are EXCEPTIONAL! I’ve worked at Medical Spa’s before and know how well those facilities should run and they definitely have a 5 star business! I have never felt so welcomed and at ease in a medical facility, they really make you feel like part of the family from greeting you with a beverage to asking about your day. I would recommend any of their injectors (I use Traci & Dani) or Aestheticians, they all are well trained on current products, services AND techniques

Ugh. I really wanted to love this place but my two experiences were both so awful I highly recommend anyone that is considering going to this MedSpa to take your business elsewhere. After a poor first experience, I Had a credit here as a gift from my mom, and had decided to give it another chance. This time I booked with Tracy, for 1 PM and had called ahead asking if it was possible if my dad could have a consult about Kybella during The appointment, since it was just crows feet for Botox and takes less than 5 minutes. The lady on the phone said that Tracy had an appointment right after me at 130

When I moved to Utah I went to all the medical spas to test them out. Ruma was pricier than the others and I assumed it was because Shelby is good at marketing. But I still wanted to see what the buzz was about. Cutting to the chase, the reason Ruma drives a higher ticket price is Shelby is a genius (and I went to the University of Chicago and have had billionaire (with a b) entrepreneurs as clients across a host of disciplines including science & tech - so I'm careful when I choose to use that word). I would feel completely confident having injections from her or anyone who is trained

It feels like this company only cares about the money and could care less about their clients. Everything is very pricey and the experience while you are there feels rushed when this is an industry that that should be exactly the opposite and that you are paying a lot of money for. It feels like they tried to cram as many people in to their schedule as possible and you are just another dollar sign not a person.

Today I had Botox done by Tracy! It was a fabulous experience, she explained everything and gave me a personalized treatment plan. Overall, this is my first experience with injectables and it was fairly painless. I will be returning! I think almost anyone would benefit from this place, very friendly and welcoming!
