Stumpy's Tree Service was founded by Martin and Anne-Marie Jakobsen in 1976. Originally, Martin performed all of the tree work himself. Equipped with just a chainsaw and a pickup truck, he was truly a one-man show. Over the past 40-plus years, the business grew into the respected company it is today.
Our modern fleet of equipment includes: three different sized cranes, bucket trucks, ASVs, chip trucks, grinders and more. We own one of the largest, most modern cranes in that area capable of safely reaching trees otherwise inaccessible to most of our competitors. We currently employ over 30 employees - many of whom have been with Stumpy's for decades.

I used Stumpy's Tree Service on Friday. I was extremely pleased with their work. Not only were they right on time but their professionalism, work procedures, safety and client interraction were above and beyond expectation.
To cap it all off, their clean up was so good that you would never know that they were here. yes, I highly recommend them and will use their services if needed in the future.
