Lydia's Clothes Closet, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit thrift shop. We sell gently used clothing and household goods and provide the same at no cost when and where needed. We also provide financial support to local agencies that provide health care, food and shelter for those in need. We sell clothing for all members of the family, as well as housewares, decor, jewelry and other accessories.
As a 503(c)3 non-profit organization, our sales help us cover all operating cost. This then allows us to partner with other organizations in the community to meet needs of individuals. Lydia's Clothes Closet has a constant turn-over of items that can meet our customer's needs. We are an all volunteer team, ready to help you with shopping or your donations.

Services
At Lydia's Clothes Closet, we provide a broad assortment of ever-changing inventory. The only thing that remains the same is our low prices. Completely staffed by volunteers, we are happy to assist you as you shop and when you drop off your donations. We feature merchandise that boasts the perfect blend of good taste, quality and functionality.
As a 503(c)3 non-profit organization, our sales cover all operating costs and our profits allow us to partner with other community organizations to meet the needs of individuals. A board of local residents oversees operations and makes decisions on where profits would best support the community. Donated clothing to Froggy's Closet, Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Shop, the Salvation Army and Goodwill.
We are fortunate to be part of a very generous community and we do receive more clothing then we can sell. For clothing we do not sell, we find other opportunities for the garments. For example, we have provided clothing for victims of Hurricanes Florence and Michael through a Strasburg resident. We also give unsold clothing to other non-profit organizations that have clients who would benefit.
