Made from trees ranging from 100 to 250 years old, your longleaf heart pine flooring is hand selected from old growth forests in Georgia and brought to H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co's sawmill for cutting, drying, and finishing. We make stair treads out of the same grade of pine flooring that you order so they always match.
6"& 8" T&G Longleaf Pine Flooring by the bundle. Lengths per pack vary, see pack description listed below. This is not a bunch of shorts or cull material. This is just like the prefinished flooring we produce, but without the micro-bevel and finish. End-matched (T&G on the ends) makes it easy for installation.
We sell our pine paneling in several grades: select, mixed, and #two (sound tight knots). You do not need to figure for any waste. We have a very strict grading policy, and any major defects in the boards will be cut out before the paneling leaves the mill. Our pine lumber is great for a traditional look and commonly used as paneling on molding, walls, and ceilings.
When it comes to installing wood flooring in your home, you don't want to deal with the hassle of finishing the wood yourself or paying someone else to do it. That's why H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co is proud to offer prefinished pine flooring. Our prefinishing flooring is available in three different grades with a 3/4-inch x 5 1/8-inch face with random lengths from one to seven feet.
Because all of the wood used by H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co is locally sourced and milled and processed on-site, you can count on the quality of our wood by-products. Since 1909, H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co has been providing quality wood by-products to the Ailey, GA area. Dry shavings are a mixture of pine and cypress and it is used for animal beddings, such as horse stalls, chicken and goat pens, and dog houses.

This lumber yard is an old family run business that produces top quality pine wood products. We bought our wood flooring from them and they were beyond nice, helpful, and accommodating. When we finally finished our house, the saddest part was the realization that I no longer had a good reason to go visit these folks. If you need quality pine, you really should use Thompson’s. Their pricing is more than competitive, they price based on actual dimensions not nominal dimensions, and you simply don’t get bad boards. If you don’t use Thompson’s...
