Exactly what we were looking for, nice small cabin in town that we could walk to the harbor. Cheaper than all the hotels and nicer. Amazing staff and views.

Phone or Yelp held this as a draft. This is from Spring of 2020:
They refuse to share information about their safety plan during Covid-19. They drove from a highly contaminated state to Alaska, I had to ask if they are taking precautions. Under a FB post they shared that they are opening up the RV park, I asked if they are opening it up to out of staters. I got back some attitude for asking, but I down played it respectfully. I also asked other questions about safety for Alaska and it's people. I then got harassed and targeted. People then told me 'they don't have to tell you anything

Friendly, well maintained, hook ups were in excelent shape, the sites that we were in were a bit narrow, but we didn't spend much time there anyway, and I didn't ask or look to see if they had better spots. I would imagine that they do. Our neighbors and the rest of the park were quiet and kept to themselves, as you'd expect. Conveniently located. Walking distance to everything, convenient store/gas station next door, grocerie/liquor store on the other side of that, restaurants and harbor office just a slight bit further walk. Nice showers were located at several places around there, store/gas

Awesome place to r&r on vaca. We spent 4th of July there. Excellent price. Hookups and power at site. Fire place on request. The staff are super helpful and courteous. Campsite is clean!!! Bathroom and showers are clean!!! Even have a fish cleaning station. We rode in the bicycle parade downtown. You just show up with a kid and a bike or scooter and the town provides the balloons and independence bike-kit. Lots of fun to do at the festival as well. Good memories!!

Great camping site. RV slots, a lawn for tents, and cabins available. We stayed in the tent area. The kids were able to play with other kids and we were able to chat with other adults. There are toilets, nice clean showers, laundry, and fish cleaning stations on site. All but the laundry are free to registered guests.
Worthwhile fishing and hiking within driving distance including waterfalls and glaciers. There are so many beautiful views with the mountains all around you. There's not really any road noises even though the site is so close to the road into town.

I stayed in one of the cabins for a couple of nights. It was a small cabin that was well laid out for 3 people. There is a bunk on the left and a full size bed on the right. Small path to get to the bathroom on the right that had a toilet and shower stall. To wash your hands you have to go to the kitchen sink. The kitchen is basic with a small fridge and microwave. Us girls are pretty clean and respectful. It served us well for 2 nights, but I could definitely see it would be a problem if we had to stay longer since it's really cramped. It was $150/night, but there weren't any other options

The best, friendliest, cleanest place to camp or park your rv in Valdez. Absolutely love the facility, view and staff. We stay here every year and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else in Valdez.

All the RV parks in Valdez are basically gravel lots with hookups - same is true for Eagle's Rest. The laundry room here was nice, the staff friendly and knowledgeable about area attractions. We planned on staying two nights but stayed three to squeeze in a helicopter ride to Columbia Glacier. The drive to Valdez is also breath-takings - especially across Thompson Pass and with the two big waterfalls (Bridal Veil and Horsetail). One tip - around 5 p.m., walk across the street to the Bayside RV Park. They feed fish to the eagles and there is a swarm of them with many photo opportunities.

I was wary about this place because of the little information, photos and reviews available online; however I was thoroughly impressed by the facilities.

We stayed in one of their cabins on site. While small, they were very efficient. Our cabin was equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, double bed toilet, sink, shower cute photos/decorations and small table. All linens were included as well as some basic toiletries. Everything was VERY clean and tidy which was important to me. The main check-in building was cute and well landscaped/decorated.

The location is very central to the docks and is

I wouldn't recommend staying here in a tent. This is most definitely an RV Park -- which is fair. It says so right in the name. But they do offer a large grassy area for tent camping. The first night we were there was fine because it was only lightly sprinkling. We spent the next day fishing for silver salmon in the rain, only to return and find our tent swamped in a big puddle. The entire tent area was very very puddly. I'll post a photo -- it's kind of comical, but we were not amused at the time because we ended up having to unpack the entire tent in the rain, stuff everything

Even though there are a lot of shortcomings, we stay here most years because they have huge drive-through spots for RV's pulling trailers.
Cons: Don't plan on having their Internet be useful for anything; they don't have the bandwidth to support the amount of people trying to use it. My 3g connection was much faster. They don't turn on their freezer until the silvers start running in late July so if you go on a halibut charter earlier plan how to freeze your fish. It's not a pretty place, it's basically a huge gravel parking lot but most of the RV parks here are

This is a popular RV park in Valdez, on the right as you come in on the Richardson Hwy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are gravel. Could not connect to their wifi even when next to office. Laundry facilities are located at the Tesoro station across the parking lot. Showers facilities were okay, they were working on the men's shower our entire three day stay here.
