Services
In 2003 the Rose Hill Foundation was established to manage and steward philanthropic funds received on behalf of Rose Hill Center. Since then, the number of applicants to Rose Hill who are unable to afford the full cost of quality mental health care - and don't qualify for assistance for residential treatment, either from a publicly supported mental health agency or from an insurance provider - has continued to rise dramatically.

Since 1992, Rose Hill Center has offered a variety of mental health services for individuals, 18 and over, in search of lasting change. Mental illness claims many lives each year, while others living with these conditions are unable to maintain a stable, independent life. At Rose Hill Center, we focus on helping individuals re-establish stability and self-esteem. During your time in our Residential Rehabilitation Program, you'll acquire the necessary tools to overcome the symptoms of mental health disorders, build life skills and achieve a positive future.
Webster defines co-occurring as 'something that occurs at the same time or in the same place - symptoms that often co-occur'. Co-Occurring treatment simply means that individuals experience multiple issues simultaneously. At Rose Hill Center, the majority of our residents admit with 3 or more psychiatric diagnoses.

Rose Hill has literally saved my thirty year old daughter’s life.. Before Rose Hill she had been in and out of short term hospital psychiatric treatment centers. My daughter literally slipped through the cracks regarding treatment and diagnosis. She never had consistent, long term treatment and proper diagnosis. Previously, the short term facilities would only do a quick questionnaire/evaluation and throw more meds at her. Rose Hill was able to get her off the many meds she was on that were only complicating the issue rather than helping. She has blossomed and continues to get better each day

Don't Send Your Beloved ones here!!!!!! This place is a sham. The Vice President Rochelle Pam Yocom and all supervisors are incredibly incompetent. They hire people for 12 dollars an hour to pass meds take care of people's beloved ones and mistreat them physically mentally and emotionally. Nobody there is being treated properly. They gossip about their residents and are a shame to the mental health care system. I think this place should be exposed for how dirty nasty the rooms are and how little protocol they have. I was wondering how you can get help for the pay I'm looking for a good rehab for my wife she is currently in a rehab right now but very unhappy where she is at she has been to 3 different rehabs and she is not aloud back at the one she was happy at and liked very much because she spent the maximum days she could spend there so if anyone could help with any info how to get help with the pay for this place it would help so much I herd so many good things about this place and would love for her to become apart of rose hill center??? Any information helps please & thank you

I was told that people with antisocial personality disorder were not admitted. Yeah...about that. A simple LARA search discovers a document from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs of an incident at Baker House, involving an anonymous patient with...antisocial personality disorder.

I am a resident at rose hill center. The program is really good if your type of person that thrives on structure. The reason I’m compelled to make this a five star review is based on my experience with case manager John Halick. This guy is one of the best social workers I’ve ever met. He’s rational, warm, intelligent, funny, and arguably the best part of the Rose Hill experience. He’s helped me a lot to say the least. I owe my life to John Halick.

I work with the admitting staff at Rose Hill Center and refer clients in need of longer-term care and specialized services. I specifically appreciate their ability to help the adult re-engage and launch back into society. The length of stay is far more desirable than any other program offering in Michigan. I also appreciate their willingness to help clients understand their insurance coverage and advocate for single-case agreements when possible.

Rose Hill has an excellent reputation! I know families whose children have received treatment at Rose Hill and they have been very pleased. I am further impressed that Rose Hill has a Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission. The reputation, accreditation and certification were important to me and my family when we decided to look at Rose Hill Center for a family member’s mental health services.

Our son was diagnosed with bipolar disorder while a freshman at the University of Michigan, and after several hospitalizations, Rose Hill came to the rescue. He hasn't been hospitalized since, while also attaining a degree, working at a job in the health care industry and coaching basketball and lacrosse. We could not be more grateful to Rose Hill for giving our son his life back.

I personally tried to convince a very troubled close friend to take advantage of a unique resource like Rose Hill, whose reputation among mental health professionals is excellent, especially in terms of positive, measurable outcomes. I wasn't able to convince him that he needed any help, and he is no longer with us, due to continued self-destructive behaviour.
