Dan Mencini started painting during the summers as he was a school teacher. He enjoyed the customers, work, and being his own boss so much, that he went full time in 1984. We have had up to five full time workers, but now it is just Dan and his son Jason who has been painting for 10 years. Our main work is residential re-paints; we enjoy the customers and like to help out with color selection.
We consider our customers as business friends and are proud of our referral business. We have painted almost any type of surface and know the best products to give the customer the longest lasting job. Dan has organized meetings in Bulgaria, Kenya, Tanzania, India, Chile and here in the United States. We have had up to a 100,000 people attend these meetings in one night. We have been a part of the gospel going into Iran. When we started Iran had 65 million Muslims and almost no Christians, today there are over 8 million believers in this country.
We have been staining decks for many years now and have seen the technology change. For many years people were told to let their deck season before applying sealer or deck stain. This was not true. Wolmanized decking had chemicals injected into the wood to make it last longer but there were no products that could initially go on this.
We specialize in repaints of residential, small commercial jobs and condominium associations. We handle all painting projects related to these fields. Fences, decks, shed and whole or part of the house or building. We typically power wash, scrape, prime, and caulk, to prepare the surface for painting.
From the moment we step inside your home, protection of your property is our concern. Tarps are used to cover flooring and furniture. Protection of things not getting painted is addressed, such as baseboards, chair rail, door knobs, hinges, plates for electrical items and any other miscellaneous items.

Dan is an awesome and friendly individual. He painted our foyer, stairs and a hallway for us this morning, and we're more than satisfied. His price compared to the other quotes was what we thought to be the most fair. We'd recommend Mencinis Painting, and will more than likely call them again if there's a job we cannot do ourselves

Used them a few years ago--they showed up, did the work, the price was reasonable. This year I hired someone different for likely more money for a higher quality job. Both firms used the same Sherwin Williams paint. Who will I hire again? 2018's firm which fixed work from Mencini's. Both firms have pleasant owners and employees but I'm willing to pay more, substantially more, for great work.
