Chronic lateral ankle pain is recurring or chronic pain on the outside part of the ankle that often develops after an injury such as a sprained ankle. Other conditions, however, may also cause chronic ankle pain. Injury to the nerves that pass through the ankle. In this case, the nerves become stretched, torn, injured by a direct blow, or pinched under pressure.
Athlete's foot is a skin disease caused by a fungus, usually occurring between the toes. The fungus usually attacks the feet because shoes create a warm, dark, and humid environment that encourages fungus growth. The warmth and dampness of areas around swimming pools, showers, and locker rooms, are also breeding grounds for fungi.
Bunions are a common problem, and can cause significant disability. A bunion is an enlargement of bone near the big toe joint (Metatarsophalangeal Joint). The bone protrudes, and can become painful. The skin over it may be red and tender. This can be acquired through time or it can be congenital (you got it from your family)Wearing any type of shoe may be painful.
A callus is an area of hard, thickened skin that can occur across the ball of the foot, on the heel, or on the outer side of the big toe. While many consider them a skin problem, they actually are systemic of a problem with the bone. Calluses have painful nerves and bursal sacs (fluid-filled balloons that act as shock absorbers) beneath them, causing symptoms ranging from sharp, shooting pain to dull, aching soreness.
The surface layer of the skin thickens and builds up, irritating the tissues underneath. Hard corns are usually located on the top of the toe or on the side of the small toe. Soft corns resemble open sores and develop between the toes as they rub against each other. Improperly fitting shoes are a leading cause of corns.

I’m giving 2 stars because the environment & Dr were super friendly. Unfortunately I don’t go to a doctor for a friendly environment , I go to get whatever ails me fixed. I went to the office 3 months ago because I had a wart in bottom of my foot. After being poked by a ginormous needle 4 times in my foot because for whatever reason the numbing wouldn’t take, It finally took so he could go inside and remove wart. He then cuts this thing out and said it wasn’t a wart and needed to send a way to radiology. So of course, now I have a $400 radiology bill to pay on top of the podiatrist bill

I completely trust Dr Benjamin’s professional skills and appreciate his kind manner. Dr Benjamin courageously repaired both my feet after two, other board certified surgeons crippled my feet.
Initially, I was referred to a podiatrist in Seymour, IN for bunions on both my feet. After surgery on my left foot, his prescribed aftercare caused a severe avulsion splitting and twisting the primary joint of my left big toe. On my right foot, this same podiatrist grossly overcorrected my first metatarsal bone causing the entire right side of my foot and big toe to be awkwardly splayed outward. The Seymore
