Bachelors of Business Administration - Sam Houston State University, Minor in Computer Science. Neal's 33 years experience in the horticulture field began in 1978 working landscaping field to save money for college. In 1980 Neal worked for Huntsville Gardens in Huntsville, TX established since 1948.
The work progressed from funding college to a life in the nursery industry. In 1984 Neal came back to Corpus Christi and worked for Turners Landscaping for one year. During this time at Turners he came to realize his focus would be in the green industry and purchased the nursery and landscape company he worked at during college in Huntsville, TX.

Huge selection and very friendly/helpful staff. Great variety of shrubs, trees, flowers, and almost anything you might want to spruce up your yard.
Prices seem to be in line with other nurseries, which tend to be high I imagine due to the care required & risks of dealing with a large inventory of live plants.
If you're just looking for very common plants, a home improvement store will likely have better pricing on smaller 1 to 2 gallon plants. The nursery has a good selection of larger specimens which would provide a more mature size and better appearance to your project right away.

Favorite place to purchase vegetable plants or herb plants that cuttings after growth can be used to season your food. Trees are a little expensive. You can find better tree prices at Walmart and Gill's is cheaper than Turners and a lot friendlier than Turners. Turner's like Best Buy, lives on their legend, that no longer exist for them.

I had such a fantastic experience at Turner’s Gardenland! I was greeted immediately and was helped quickly!! I purchased a beautiful cactus and the men working helped me protect it as I am planning to transport it to ND. They wrapped the cactus up and carried it straight to my car for me. Wonderful service and beautiful collection!
