As the old medical school saying goes, 'Listen long enough and the patient will describe their diagnosis.' Lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, cognitive behavioral therapy) can often eliminate the need for a drug regimen. If, however, this isn't possible or successful, then you and I develop your best care plan.
I offer unique, personalized healthcare and wellness solutions tailored to your unique needs and goals. In these uncertain times, we recognize that coming to the doctor's office isn't always an option. The brutal truth is that your loved ones depend on your strength and well-being to shelter them from life's storms.

I was born in Baton Rouge, LA but quickly moved to Houston when I was six. Shortly after graduating high school, I enlisted in the US Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst and was stationed in Virginia Beach, VA, Okinawa, Japan, and Camp Pendleton, CA.
Following the Marine Corps, I went on to complete my undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science in Developmental Biology at MD Anderson Cancer Center/UT Houston, and medical school at UT Health Science Center San Antonio.Residency training in Emergency Medicine and Board Certification (American Board of Emergency Medicine) followed.

According to multiple surveys, the Number 1 priority for most employees (after salary) is health care care. Unfortunately, the current pandemic crisis is proving to be a serious economic challenge for many companies. Because of this, many local businesses are finding it difficult to justify the cost of providing the usual healthcare to employees.
Payment denials through no fault of the doctor's office (which you're then responsible for). So, in order to pay the bills, doctors must schedule up to 20 appointments in a single 8 hour day. No wonder everything is so rushed! Most of the time, you have to start ALL OVER with another doctor. Just like that, all of the trust, understanding, and comfort you had with your physician is gone.
I've never had a doctor that I knew cared about me on a personal level as well as professionally, so I can't make a comparison. If you're tired of feeling like that and want the full attention of your doctor, I'd like to introduce you to Dr. Peter Cashio. I highly recommend Dr. Cashio's practice. From first contact he does his best to accommodate his patient from scheduling to payments.

I had a great experience at Dr. Cashio's office. Unlike other doctor's offices, there is no waiting, and he clearly cares about his patients. He spent plenty of time with me during our visit, no rushing at all. I love the concierge/dpc model he has built, because the relationship is between you and him, without insurance companies getting in the way. I would highly recommend Dr. Cashio for anyone wanting medical care the way it should be.

Without a doubt the best service I have ever been provided by a doctor in my life. I have insurance but still utilize Dr Pete as my pcp because of the concierge care I receive. I couldn’t be happier with his services. I would suggest for everyone to utilize his office. Doctors should take a page out of his book when practicing.

After a week of agony resulting from a particularly stubborn poison ivy rash,
I called Dr. Cashio on a Saturday evening to get some advice. As a first time patient, imagine my surprise when he picked up the phone and addressed my concerns. Initially, I wasn't even looking for a prescription - just assurance that I had truly exhausted over-the-counter treatment. He advised that prescription medications would be of greater benefit, considering that the rash had taken over a good third of my body and had no signs of slowing down. After taking the prescription, the all encompassing rash loosened its

Dr Cashio is like a little angel here in Drip. He and his assistant are incredibly kid and professional. If you want a doctor that is available and cares about your health, this is the place. They were very attentive and helpful to both my needs and my fathers. While we were in he helped us get a specialist appt with another doctor to ensure my dad got the emergency care he needed. Thankful for him and his crew. Thank you Dr Cashio!

I had identified Dr. Cashio and “Code 1 Concierge Care” during a web search a few months ago as a provider of monoclonal antibody treatment for Covid-19. It was important to me to be fully prepared for the inevitable infection, and execute against a plan that ensured that my husband and I would be able to avoid hospitalization- and of course, death. What I was not prepared for was just how quick and easy it would be to receive life saving antibodies as a Code 1 Concierge Care patient. Dr. Casio’s assistant, Sandra, returned my call, agreed that my symptoms were compatible with Covid-19, and

Dr Pete and his staff, Janet and Lexi, were welcoming, friendly, caring and did a great job helping my wife and I. We are both on the mend as they explained, and the treatment we had was pretty much painless.
Thank God their code 1 office isn't stuck in old paradigms of medicine and they were able to help us.
They're easy to get to - right off the 290 as well.

Everyone should have a doctor as great as Dr. Cashio! This is our first experience with Concierge Medicine/Direct Primary Care, and we never thought we needed it because we have insurance and are fairly young/healthy. However these days we want to be sure we are as healthy as possible, have COVID treatment options if needed, and as we are getting older (35-40) we’ve noticed more issues that we wanted to get checked out. We had tried to get an appointment with our regular doctor at ARC and he was booked out for three weeks (as usual when the issue is not urgent), but after one quick and pleasant

If you're tired of feeling like you're on an assembly line when dealing with the medical establishment, then Dr. Cashio is for you. You're not rushed, he listens, is willing to work with you to come up with a plan that works. I was shocked when he called me the next day after an appointment to followup on how I was doing, when was the last time your doctor did that? This is what medicine should be like.

Dr. Cashio is a FANTASTIC physician! As a healthcare worker, I have had firsthand experience seeing physicians with poor bedside manners and not doing what is best for their patients. For the most part, the typical experience is rushed, impersonal, lacking bedside manner, and often unprofessional. These are common occurrences in modern-day healthcare settings. This typical experience is NOT the case with Dr. Cashio. He spent the time trying to thoroughly understand my health history and provide the best plan of care for me. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and spent additional time on patient

Have you ever seen movies where the Dr take time out of there busy day to tend to specific patient needs. Where they actually sit down with you an talk about the issues you are having and do research on those issues to better his or her knowledge on the situation so that they can lead you down the path do a better, healther life? Dr. Cashio did… that for me. He sat down with me during my check up an pulled out a computer to learn more about what it was I was going through. He dove deeper in to related potential issues that I should keep a watchful eye on. I have lived with my issue since

I had my first appointment with Dr. Cashio yesterday. As a Marine, my expectations are high when it comes to a primary care physician. I guess that's why I haven't been able to find one I like since I moved to Dripping 11 years ago. Well guess what? I finally found one and he is a Marine too. Simply put this is the way medicine should be practiced. He took the time to listen to me. He didn't rush me. He made it personal like we were family. If you are looking for a true "family doctor" you need to go see Dr. Cashio.

Dr. Pete and his crew are top notch and it's great to have them as my healthcare team. I'm an RN and know a great doc when I see one. If your looking for a new primary care physician this is your guy. Super fast response time and they take the time to get to know you. Not just the typical 3-5 min most providers give these days. I think he spent 60 min with me. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
