The Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the VSL mission, vision and values are met within the facility, through the development of strong personal relationships, while ensuring effective and economic operation of all facility departments, providing tactful leadership and supervision, and ensuring that approved facility goals and objectives are accomplished and quality services achieved and maintained.

You can find better care for your loved ones for less almost anywhere in the valley, don't be fooled by the high price-tag. For both potential residents and employees I have to warn you to steer clear. I worked at Heritage Estates for several years and I loved working there, but since their recent management changes almost everything has changed for the worse. As of January when I left, complaints to management and the company were either ignored or flat-out laughed off. The managers (one in particular) have favorite staff who routinely don't show up or come in an hour late, and the other nurses

Was trying to get my wife in for rehab and transitioning to end of life. We were up front about her condition and led to believe that they would be able to take her. 2 days later they declined her. The reason they gave was that she had poor probability of being able to rehab to be able to go home. They advertise end of life care and rehab. Total lie.

Our family member is in the dementia unit at the Heritage Estates in Gering. The staff is so kind, patient and caring. She enjoys the company of others, whatever activities she chooses to take part in and they make certain she gets help with eating when she needs it. I would highly recommend it for anyone's loved ones.
