Fjelland Floors opened its doors in 1989 with Jeff and Jim Fjelland at the helm. We started out small with humble beginnings and a business vow to provide exemplary customer service and guarantee our results. Fjelland Floors is a family owned business three generations strong. Jeff and Ryan Fjelland have kept the store running and have handled the process from start to finish.
With Jeff's recent retirement, the ownership has now transferred over to Ryan with a continued commitment to customer satisfaction and top quality workmanship. We are a hometown business. Three generations of Fjellands have lived and thrived in McMinnville, Oregon, and we aim to keep it that way. We love to see returning customers coming back to have new flooring installed thirty years after we installed it the first time!

Services
Fjelland Floors carries a wide variety of flooring, window, and countertop materials for your residence or commercial location. Here at Fjelland Floors, we hold ourselves to a higher standard of quality for customer service. Every installation we undertake comes standard with a one year limited warranty.
Installation takes about two weeks from ordering to install. Installation for the various flooring materials varies based on difficulty of the install, whether the material is in stock (or needs special ordering), and on our schedule availability. All of our employees are licensed and bonded. All of our contractors are friendly and skillfully qualified.

We hired Fjelland Floors to replace about 1,200 sq. ft. of carpet. We had a tight schedule due to our recent purchase of the home and needed the new carpet installed prior to moving in. I am impressed with the quality of products to choose from and their staff has great knowledge of each. When I visit they are willing to offer detailed specifications of materials and product wear information-they spend a lot of time with their customers. We had one of the worst customer experiences here ever.
First, we got quotes from several different places that offered the flooring we wanted. Lowe's, Lumber Liquidators, all gave us quotes for new floors and they were similar enough that we decided to support a local business.
This was a lesson in why Not to support a local business. Problem one and a giant warning sign from the start, is that the staff didn't think we were serious about getting a new floor, or had enough money for floors. We were treated like we weren't important from the beginning.
