The National Fire Protection Association recommends that homeowners have their chimney and dryer vent inspected at least once a year. Mr. Soot's Chimney Sweeps offer a full range of chimney and venting system services. Whether it's fireplaces, chimneys, or dryer vents, we understand the workings of the venting systems in your home.
Annual dryer vent cleanings are more necessary than ever before due to the complex construction of modern homes. Newer homes tend to have dryers located away from an outside wall. Although locating the dryer in an interior room in the middle of the house can be convenient, this can be potentially dangerous from a safety standpoint.
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)'s 211 (Standard for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents, and Solid Fuel Burning Appliances) is the standard upon which we base our services. This standard classifies chimney and venting system inspections into three levels-Level I, Level II, or Level III. Each level of inspection has a specific scope of work and specific criteria.

Mr Soot's cleaned my dryer vent. Joey was personable, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to address my concerns. He was also neat and clean as he worked, and cleaned/sanitized the area prior to leaving. I would definitely recommend!

We were very impressed with every aspect of our dealings with this company. Mr Soot was on time and professional. Their worker was conscientious and careful of my flooring and furniture. He was well- spoken and was quick and efficient. He showed me pictures and explained the scope of his work. I wish more businesses conducted themselves this way.

I have been using this chimney sweep company for many years , though I'm sad to say I won't be anymore. Management must have changed because their service used to be great and kept everything clean when cleaning my chimney, but this time there were 2 new guys that came to my house, left stains on my carpet and didn't seem to know what they were talking about when answering my questions about the chimney. I don't usually write reviews but I am completely dissatisfied and wanted to warn others

My parent's hired this company to clean out their dryer vent (theirs vented through the roof). My parents were impressed with the responsiveness of the company, the knowledge of the technician and the great job he did. It was well worth the money and the dryer now works once more like it should. Thanks for the great job!
