I was a nanny for two little girls, ages five and three, in Switzerland. The youngest wasn't developing as expected. She wasn't making eye contact, wasn't listening well, and behind in speech. After seeing a long list of specialists, all of whom reported everything was fine, our last stop was an optometrist.

She was a warm and friendly doctor, making the kiddo feel comfortable and at ease. We learned that she needed glasses for being extremely near sighted. The moment she put her glasses on, her world changed. Her posture immediately straightened, she looked us in the eyes, and began interacting with her world.
Services
Dr. Emily Bussey, a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the Southern College of Optometry, began treating patients in Bartlesville 5 years ago, taking over an existing practice. In addition to family optometry, treating infants to geriatric patients, Dr. Bussey specializes in pediatric eye care and vision therapy.
I love Dr Chevalier! He helped me through some serious side effects from my cancer care. This month was just my annual visit, but he seems very engaged in my overall continuous eye health. Was very good about explaining my scans and what they are looking for and watching. We went to Dr. Bussey today because my son could potentially have complications with his eyes due to a health condition.
If you've had a vision screening recently, you might say, My vision is fine! I don't need a comprehensive eye exam. But a vision screening provides a limited perspective on the overall health of your eyes. It's a bit like getting your blood pressure checked and not getting the rest of your annual physical.
OPTOS - We take a wide-angle picture of your retina (the inside of your eye). This shows us the health of your eyes and allows us to directly compare images from year to year. OCT - We can measure each cellular layer in the major structures inside your eye. These cross-section scans help us detect and monitor disease in ways not possible with traditional eye exams.

Bought hundred dollar glasses insurance for two year coverage and was just told they would not honor it. Woman on the phone was EXTREMELY rude, very disappointed in how I was treated.

It is so incredibly difficult to get an appointment at this office. I was unable to keep the appointment I originally set up and when I called to reschedule the appointment I was told there were not any openings for nearly 7 months!! I had to wait almost 5 months just to get the original appointment (which when I called to schedule was a year from the last appointment date) and now another 7!!!! No thank you!!

Existing patient - with insurance - professional. Having issues with glasses at work.
Told the wait was 6 months for a re-check so I could see to do my job.

Come on guys, what is wrong here. Rude person told me they were trying to accommodate the demand....guessing not worried about existing patients at all, just getting more on the rolls.
