Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids can be wirelessly connected to devices such as televisions, cell phones, FM systems, GPS systems, and PDAs, with the use of Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth technology works similarly to wireless Internet, where sounds are sent through an invisible electronic signal.

Cerumen, or ear wax, can be removed from the ear canal so that it does not interfere with listening or comfort, especially for individuals who wear hearing aids.During your examination you will be tested using a series of low & high frequency words to determine your ability to understand verbiage within a conversation.
Cerumen, also known as earwax, is naturally produced by the glands in the ears to lubricate the ear canals and keep dust and debris from getting too far down in the ear canal. Cerumen typically clears itself from the ears, but in some instances can accumulate and cause a blockage. If a blockage occurs, it may need to be removed.
A diagnostic hearing evaluation is the first step in determining your hearing capability. If you have a hearing loss, it will detail the extent, type, and specifics of your particular hearing loss. The diagnostic hearing evaluation will be performed by an audiologist, usually in his or her office, using equipment called an audiometer.
Developers of hearing aids are always looking for new and improved ways of making hearing aids better and more useful in people's lives. Bluetooth technology is being used to make it easier for hearing aid users to connect their hearing aids to various devices for improved sound quality directly from the sound source.

I paid $1650.00 for a pair of hearing aids. They didn’t even bill my insurance. I can’t wear them and when I went back, they said I waited to long. They couldn’t do anything.
So now I am out $1650.00 (like I have lots of money) and hearing aids I can’t wear.mary minter

Don and crew do a great job. They are quite economic, normally have hearing aids in stock, and provide several free follow up services and supplies. They are not high pressure sales people and ask numerous questions to try to find the best hearing aids taking into account the customer’s needs. I ended up with 2 mid priced units that are Bluetooth for the same price that I paid for one hearing aid 10 years ago in Knoxville. I now can answer my I-phone thru my hearing aid and talk hands free as well as hear what my wife is saying. That is, if I haven’t tuned her out.
