Center Street Cafe, is a locally owned and operated "Farm to Table" style restaurant. Everything we serve is made from scratch from local/regional ingredients. This joint was sweet and hometownish. We had the bacon flight, and it was meh.
I had the eggs Benedict on biscuits, because they were out of muffins.
They failed on the hollandaise, as it came out chunky.
Dont get me wrong, the flavors were there. Absolutely the flavors were there.
My guest had the cracker jack french toast and it was pretty decent.
Best of all, they serve Boston Stoker coffee.
Hands down, Dayton's best coffee.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this gorgeous place. happy to tell that we passed a tremendous evening and the venue was no doubt one of the reasons for that outstanding meeting. The waiters helped in a splendid way, the meals were delicious and my buddies were so happy. We shall surely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

I want to like this place. But we came during a very busy evening. Staff is friendly but seem stressed. Some menu items were sold out. Waited an hour after ordering. I hope to revisit and hopefully change my review. The menu items are varied and sound appetizing using good ingredients. Inside is clean and has a warm atmosphere.

Expensive poor quality food and slow service. The restaurant was pretty empty, and the waitress was unfamiliar with the menu . The mixed greens were served warm with no sauce. I got the chicken wrap, nothing special. Husband got the barn buster burger and It was burned to a crisp.
We saw the cook massaging his beard with his gloves on .This place is nothing comparable to Ms. Molly's.
